23.01.2022 Great to share some free tickets to Taipans with Paul & Megan as well as Sue & Roy from Street Level Youth Care who also brought some of their kids along who had a great night at the Basketball!

16.01.2022 Another Christmas Day over. We say a Big THANK YOU to those that donated food, presents and cash. A special THANK YOU to our team at Street Level Youth Care for helping set up, serve and pack up for our lunch at White Rock and our evening meal at Trinity Beach. Also to our chef Paul Drabble for helping with food prep and cooking the BBQ also Megan for assisting. The children/ youth and families all had a great time.

09.01.2022 A Message from Carter and Carter. Hi everyone, Merelyn here. Thank you all so very much for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support. Life for us is going to look a bit different from here on in. Being diagnosed with cancer is always a shock for everyone, and it gives us all the opportunity to re-evaluate our priorities. This will be an ongoing journey for David and I, as the type of cancer I have is so far deemed 'incurable'. It is a rare type 'living' in my bon...e marrow, but is considered to be a cancer of the blood. The blessing for us is that it not currently acute or aggressive which gives us time to explore many alternative options and to have the chance to build up my immune system. Just because there currently is no 'cure' doesn't mean one cannot be found. I am going to give it my best shot and already I have a wonderful medical and alternative medicine team around me, not to mention a daughter who is doing her Masters in Haematology - I am in good hands. With all the love coming my way, I am blessed beyond words. Thank you so very very much. Although we have had to cancel some shows, we are able to still present the Barn concert, due to a wonderful team of people who will help get everything happening. I look forward to seeing you all then. Rest assured that I will continue to sing for you as much as I can, and otherwise I will spend a lot of time resting, pottering in the garden, healing, exploring the peace that can be found in the spaces in between the busyness of life. It is my hope that my ongoing journey will be of encouragement to others as I explore all that comes my way. Street Level Youth Care require these for our Christmas Day function to make this a special time for the children / youth that attend our vans and families. 05.01.2022 There are many ways people can help Street Level Youth Care. Some items we use every day are; 1. Cordial - we use 2 bottles each night ... 2. Tomato Sauce- we use 2 ltr every 2-3 nights 3. Small Plastic Plates - We use 50-100 every night. 4. 12 oz Foam Cups We hand out 50 plus a night. 5. Serviettes - these are handed out to each child/youth with their meal. 6. Plastic Forks - We use 50-100 a night. If you would like to help us by donating any of the above items it would much appreciated.
