23.01.2022 Hello everyone With school going back families and student may be feeling stressed or anxious about what the new year will hold.. Here are some tips to help. 1) Always reassure yourself and your children that as scary as the new year may be there are always people there to help (teachers, principles, and school counsellors)... 2) Reassure children that with a new year new opportunities and friends will come along. Try and help them find interests that may be available and help them join. 3) Ask your children about what is worrying them and see if you put their mind at ease and speak to their teacher about the childs concerns. 4) Talk to your children regularly, check in and see how they are adjusting to the new year and new classes. Ask them about any concerns and see what you can assist with and speak to your childrens teachers regularly. Strength Within Youth Counselling

Even though the week is over we shouldnt just be asking are you ok on just that day but all the time. You never know what someone is going through and just asking a stranger if they are ok could be just the saving grace they needed....
