Here are a few tips on keeping your mental health in check! (from a fellow sufferer!) - Maintain a regular routine! Do not succumb to sleeping longer, delaying showers, meal times etc.... - Maintain healthy nutrition. Junk food may feel great at the time but it's like putting dirty fuel in a car! Your mind and body won't function well if you don't look after it. - Maintain a set structure for the day. Use this time productively! Are there any home improvement jobs needing attention? Gardening is very therapeutic! - Stay active! Exercise is the best medicine for your mental and physical health. This combined with daylight help produce serotonin, the brain's happy chemicals! - Listen to motivational music! It is fairly hard to be down when your favourite tunes are pumping! - Watch a favourite movie; read a great book. - Practice mindfulness through meditation to stay in the moment.
