25.01.2022 Good morning yesterday we received another urgent call to assist a person who has severe social anxiety and their only option currently is to sleep rough. We ...provided the basic essentials to help this person out with a swag, sleeping bag, new clothes, toiletries and food. Our funds for paying for accommodation are running out as we receive no government funding we rely solely on the generous donations from the community. We thank all of you who donate to help us to help those less fortunate We wish we had the 10 individual safe spaces set up with the sleep pods. Just recently we have had quite a few people who suffer severe social anxiety and the safe spaces are not set up for these people. Our $ are running out to continue paying for accommodation for people when all other services have not been able to accommodate we are the last resort on the list. It breaks my heart every phone call we receive, just wishing we had our 10 individual safe spaces set up. We still have to fundraise for another $80,000 for the fit out of the 2 x 40 ft containers. 23.01.2022 This week we received such great news from one of our donators. Discovery Early Learning Centre; Alexander Beetle House are able to again to provide us with healthy nutritious meals that are prepared onsight and most definitely get the tick of approval from the children at the centre. These meals will be regularly added to our packs that o out to people in the community requiring assistance. ... Our community packs are what we are now calling our assistance packs, the reason for this is because they are only made possible by the donations from those in our community, and they help those in the community. 10.01.2022 We wish to apologise for the confusion over the last couple of weeks with the page changes unfortunately it was out of our control but the good news is that we have finally got our control back :-) Moving forward we would like to thank everyone for their patience and to all the businesses who did donate and now dont we wish to Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for all you helped with allowing us to help so many. We have also gone and personally thanked some of the p...revious businesses and it was great to have met with you. We have managed to secure ongoing bulk supplies direct from local Tasmanian farms with vegetables so this will enable us to supply filling and nutritional value to the food packages. Thank you so much to all who donate to Strike It Out Inc this helps with us to continue our services and that is about helping those less fortunate on the North West Coast of Tasmania as well as in the North. Currently we are still working towards having both our North and North West branches set up on the same inventory system we still have some work to do on this and then that should be completed. The Square inventory system ensures that all stock is tracked and it will make life easier all round. 10.01.2022 We would love to give a big shout out to our friends at Grow Gather Give (formerly Produce to the People)! These wonderful human beings helped us last week with supplying a pack to a person with vegan dietary requirements! Check out the picture below with all of those delicious, fresh vegetables that Grow Gather Give provided us with! Being vegan means having a limited access to foods that fit your dietary requirements. It also means it can be difficult to ask for help when y...ou need it. Luckily this person came to the right organisation! Our volunteers found it a bit trickier than normal to do this pack, searching nearly every product for the ingredients. They also found that we have a very limited supply of foods that can be classified as vegan friendly so, we are asking that anyone who wishes to donate if they could possibly chuck in a couple of vegan friendly products so it makes it easier to supply those in need with the things that they need. We know it is a big ask but please remember that being vegan isnt always a choice for some people.

Kaiden is a wonderful young man who is big on helping those less fortunate than him. Qualities like that are hard to come by and we would like to take the opportunity to share with you that it doesnt matter how old you are, you can still have a massive heart like Kaiden.
