21.01.2022 The first time you use your banneton spray lightly with water and sprinkle liberally with rice flour to coat every surface inside the basket. You should only need to spray the basket once. Every time you use your banneton dust it well with rice flour before placing your shaped dough inside to prove. Avoid washing the banneton, just use a stiff brush, to knock out any bits of dry dough or flour if necessary. ... Ever since taking a vocational exchange to Turkey in 2015 to study Turkish cuisine and spices, Mich has wanted to host an extravagant Turkish Breakfast fit for a Sultan. Graze all morning and into the afternoon on a seasonal feast of traditional Turkish pide, simit, poaça and flat breads straight from the wood fired pizza oven, sweet and savoury pastries, gozleme, boreck, peynir (cheese), local eggs, olives, fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, house made jams & pickles, house made suchuc, meneman (baked eggs), kaymak (clotted cream) with local honeycomb, baklava, burma, Turkish tea and coffee all served in the spirit of Turkish hospitality.
