25.01.2022 LETS GET PHYSICAL: For the older kids and adults: Th is is a small circuit that my PT gave me to do when I was on holidays! This takes 20-30mins and no equipment needed!! ... Adults / older kids 30 squats. 20 sit ups. 10 push ups 5 burpees Do 5 times You can change this for kids by decreasing the number, younger kids can do this too, with the below modifications: Sit ups - tell them just to touch their hands to their knees Push ups - young kids find this hard, more so with coordination. Have them on all fours, they are to bend elbows out not dip their backs, I tell them face to the ground, but make sure they keep their neck straight as well!! Burpees - just tell them to lay on their tummy on the floor and get back up again!

23.01.2022 Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome to the first activity! I will put an activity up every second day during the week, so Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Today It’s all about balloon play, so all you need is a balloon per child. ... The main focus is catching and hitting Below are the activities you can do with your child: Follow the activities in this order, it might take you a couple of days to work through all the activities You will see the activities start easy and get harder. 1. Get your child to throw the balloon in the air and catch it. You will see younger kids will try and catch the balloon with their Fingers as it comes down, try to encourage them to let it float down a bit longer and catch it properly. 2. Tap / throw the ball up and try to keep it in the air, younger kids will struggle with the tapping continuously, so just get them to try and not let the balloon hit the ground 3. Throw and catch to each other 4. Throw the balloon at a wall and catch 5. Tap the balloon at the wall and play tennis on the wall 6. Tennis hands, play tennis using their hands with each other or yourself 7. Older kids can use a racket of some sort and play tennis, remind them they can’t hit it hard remember to make these activities last longer practise the skill then set a number of each they have to do, make it a competition, get the kids to Come up with an activity and teach each other! Enjoy! Please feel free to share videos or photos of you kids doing these activities!!

17.01.2022 A lot of people have mentioned they would like some activities for their older children. Instead of reinventing the wheel, I would much rather support someone who is already doing what you want, I highly recommend this guy, he is doing PE each day of the working week!!

15.01.2022 One of my favourite activities with the young kids is numbered pegs! All you need to do is number pegs 1-10, I use about 3 sets so there is a few of each number. Number some plastic plates or draw pictures from 1-10 on each plate. Another idea if you don’t have time to draw on the plates use playing cards. The idea is the kids get a peg and peg it into the corresponding card / plate. ... At kids capers when I did this activity the kids would grab a peg go down the slide and peg it on, you could have the pegs in one area and they have to walk /run /hop/ walk backwards to the plates / cards This will entertain the kids for ages and they are learning to count at the same time!

14.01.2022 With everything that is happening and with venues forced to shut their doors, I’ll be putting up some activities that you can do with your children to keep them entertained, whilst learning at the same time! This will mainly be aimed at the preschooler age, but I’m sure the older kids will love them too!!! First activity will be up on Wednesday!!

04.01.2022 Apologies time got away from me yesterday and I completely forgot to put up the activity!! Still using the balloons 1. Kicking - get the kids to hold the balloon like a footy and teach them to kick, again being slower it allows them to get their foot position right.... 2. Set up some objects ( I use cans of food or soft toys) as cones and the kids can dribble ( kicking off the ground but the balloon stays on the ground) around the objects 3. Set up obstacles and they can dribble the balloon through and around. Use a chair and they kick under the chair, through objects set up like goals, over a cushion, be creative, use the whole house!! 4. Kick to kick with each other 5. Hacky sack, usingnonly feet and legs balloon has to stay in the air!! Enjoy and happy Saturday!! Next activity will be on Monday!!
