24.01.2022 FALLING OFF THE WAGON: Gaining The Weight That You Lost Back Again... I see this. Hell, I’ve done this! Losing those unwanted kilos and feeling great. Only to put it all back on after all your hard work. Why do we do this? For me at least, when I first started getting my diet sorted, I would finish it and think great, I’m done. I can go back to eating my favourite junk food again. This will always end in disaster. ... The key word in the paragraph above is the word diet. See, when people diet they almost always put a time limit on it. An 8 week challenge. A 12 week etc etc. Once you get to the end, you end up subconsciously putting the brakes on the whole thing. Rather than using the diet as a starting point or stepping stone as a way to create a healthier lifestyle. Personally I think that everyone can diet. But I don’t think that everyone can change their lifestyle if they’re truly not prepared for it. What’s your thoughts? Why do you think you end up gaining the weight again after losing it? We made the decision to get back to the park now that not only COVID restrictions had been eased some time ago, as well as saying goodbye to winter. Our regular members were very much used to logging in from home to do their workouts! So from the 6th October next Tuesday, it’s full steam ahead with park sessions. Saving Zoom sessions only when it rains. ... 07.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT AFTER THE OCTOBER LONG WEEKEND: Good morning everyone! As most people who are regular members or those of you who have inquired about our sessions over the last few months, we’ve been running sessions via Zoom during the Covid lockdowns and continuing them on as well as running park sessions.... After the October long weekend, our Zoom sessions will be scaled back. Only running them when it rains. So from the 6th October, ALL SESSIONS will be done at the park at Brickwharf rd Woy Woy. It’s time to get back to enjoying the outdoors now that winter is done! Zoom has literally been a lifesaver. It saved our business these last few months. But it’s back to the park. A big thank you for everyone who supported us during the height of Covid. It’s very much appreciated

06.01.2022 TUESDAY TIPS: I’ve decided that each Tuesday, I’ll post up a useful tip for anyone looking for help in achieving their fitness goals. Here’s today’s tip:... STOP FEELING GUILTY. Here’s what I mean by that. You train hard and diet hard. You have a bad day and decide to blow your workout and your diet and eat a whole pizza. You then feel guilty about eating said pizza, so decide to either punish yourself by thrashing yourself with hours of mindless cardio to burn it off. Or you go the other way and decide to blow the whole thing completely and then your whole week is ruined by eating way too much shit and doing nothing. Both examples are fraught with perils. Exercise should be used to help get you fitter and stronger. Not used as a punishment tool because you tripped up and binged. On the flip side. Constantly not taking responsibility for your binge does nothing other than to keep you repeating them. You get nowhere. And your dreams of actually losing those unwanted kilos are just that. Dreams. In both examples, your best course of action is to get back on point straight away. If you slipped up at lunch, eat a healthy dinner. If you slipped up at dinner, get back on point the very next day. Habits are formed by repetition. Not by punishing yourself.

04.01.2022 Looks like rain! Just a reminder that we run our sessions via Zoom when it rains. All safe and dry in your own home! So there’s no excuse not to get a session in! Unless you’re totally technologically challenged ... Zoom literally saved my business over the Covid lockdown. So much so that our regulars preferred it over the park sessions during winter. Even when we were allowed back to the park. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But it’s worth giving a go.

It’s certainly been a roller coaster ride just like most small businesses! On behalf of my wife and I, we wanted to thank all our current and past members for supporting us over the years. Without you, we wouldn’t be doing what we do now. So thanks everyone
