12.01.2022 Needing some motivation? Unfortunately there is no supplement for motivation (wouldn’t that be great though), it is something that you need to create yourself So if motivation is something you’re lacking, here is a list of ways that can help you keep your body moving... Create goals - Write down your goals on paper, this makes it more official and real. Create short term goals and long term goals and create a reward system for when you reach these goals! Schedule your workouts - By planning your workouts for the week you mentally make that commitment to yourself. Educate yourself - If you are unsure about what you should be eating or what kind of exercises you should be doing, educating yourself by either a personal trainer or with the loaded information online to spark some interest and get you motivated to get started! Find a gym buddy - Nothing is more motivating that having a gym buddy to help keep you accountable! Find someone that will get out and go for walks with you or smash a weight session. Change your way of thinking - Motivation comes from your mind so another way to motivate yourself is to think of why you want to get out and move your body in the first place. Instead of thinking ‘oh, its just to hard’, try thinking ‘I’m doing this for my body and my mind so I can be healthier inside and out’ See more
12.01.2022 Hi I’m @mizzkailee founder of SGU I remember when SGU first started over a year ago I had this crazy idea of starting a website and social page, expressing my creativity, inspiring people to love and care for their bodies and bringing people together I stopped watching TV for a week and decided I’d start a blog to help achieve this goal... I am so grateful for the many beautiful interviews and people I’ve got to meet along the way - I have learned so much from women, socials and running our website that I can now apply to other areas in my life As much as SGU was a movement to help make a difference in the lives of women it was also a brand that I could experiment with and learn from - to be better! Here are a few important lessons I’ve learned thus far: Consistency is important - and is something I struggled with cause you know life happens (invest in a auto-posting app ) Don’t let the numbers game (likes, views, followers) get to your head - its easy to get discouraged but keep going) Don’t make promises unless you are 100% sure you are able to keep them Transparency is also important and that is why I’m sharing all this information with you today At the moment our webpage and any products (SGU shirts included) that we have brought up in the past are on hold as I am working hard on something that I’ve always dreamed of doing; that is becoming a designer and launching my own label I will still carry on with SGU on socials (and meet ups if you live in Perth), as I can’t wait to share this journey with you, but at the moment my energy (and money) will be going towards achieving this dream I appreciate ALL the support (like seriously girls you are all amazing, so blessed) and if you want support/follow my business page @sophroactive Launching early 2021 See more
