21.01.2022 This powerful Hawk smudge fan came to life in perfect timing to join me on my travels to Brisbane then on to make its journey to its new guardian in NSW. In Brisbane it was witness to sacred ceremony with Aboriginal Elders and blessed by the many that joined me there. A potent medicine tool with the antler, fox fur and amethyst chevron crystal at the base. I believe I would have enough feathers to make one or two more Hawk smudge fans and also have little eagle and tawny frog mouth feathers that could be formed into smudge fans. 10.01.2022 Latest channelled art work. Capturing the moment when we shed our physical form and enter into the realms of spirit. Each artwork that I sit with Spirit to complete for someone is so different. Holding the healing medicine and power for that person to connect with and to align with their path. Transporting their soul essence to that point of remembering who they truely are so that all pieces of the self can merge back together and walk strong together this life. 09.01.2022 Art in progress. Still needs many hours invested. Essence seems to be morphing as I go. Which is making for an insightful journey with the butterflies and ancestors. My beginning intention was to express part of the story of my great grandmother that was taken from her family and put into care to be a maid/servant. She remained there till she was 20. And only left when a neighbour told her she didnt have to stay after she turned 18. Bringing her back to the age of when she last experienced freedom.
