16.01.2022 A fantastic day out there today for this holiday Monday. I enjoyed a walk past the beaches and timed it well as most people were on the beach , not on the paths. And I parked the car at the next beach so I got some steps in too. It’s called working for your food lol.... 09.01.2022 I’ve just registered to complete a marathon to raise money for the Heart Foundation and you can too. You don’t have to complete it in one day ( phew) as you have the whole month to walk, skip, jog or run the 42.2 kms in October. You could even be cheeky and aim to do 42.2 kms every week. Registering gives you some commitment to see it through and raise some money at the same time. Get your friends to donate to you the cost of a coffee and you are on your way. Or put aside... your loose change for the month and your donation is sorted. A great way to get moving in October Sistas. JUST START

Their annual It’s In the Bag drive ends this weekend and we will be having a bag making session this Saturday 28th at Speers Point Park at 8.30am. So it’s a good excuse to catch up with some Sistas, have a coffee (BYO) and enjoy the lake view.... So, if you’re interested to come along just get in touch. We will follow the current health guidelines and you need to bring along your own goodies and bag to make up. I think these boats are outriggers but it reminded me of some dragon boat racing I did in the harbour as part of a maritime festival over 20 years ago. 02.01.2022 Throwback Sunday This came up in my memories earlier today and I’ve been reminiscing about a Greek Island Cruise my hubby and I went on back in 2016. We had been thinking of another trip this year or next and obviously now hopefully soon we’ll be able to go & do some exploring of Oz instead.... Holidays always seem to be a good time that you do lots of exploring and get lots of steps in each day.
