25.01.2022 Hello short week! Hope you all enjoyed your long weekend! We have hit the ground running with a lot to get through in the next few days.

25.01.2022 Happy Tuesday! We have some helpful reminders to put in your diary: -- 28 October: The September quarter BAS is due... -- 30 October: deadline to lodge your 2013 Income Tax Return (unless you have a Tax Agent lodge on your behalf). Have a good week!

22.01.2022 Hello and welcome to our Facebook page. From time to time we will be providing useful updates and reminders via this page. Stay tuned for updates!

22.01.2022 Customer Service: we all feel like its lacking in a lot of big businesses we deal with these days (how long were you on hold with your telephone provider the other day?). One of the best ways to differentiate your business is to offer great service, because people only seem to complain about the price when they feel like theyre not getting value for money.

20.01.2022 As a follow-up to our last post regarding email scams, you can sign up for scam alerts here: https://www.staysmartonline.gov.au/alert-service

15.01.2022 What next?! Take care out there people.

15.01.2022 Now, this is the way we like to start our Fridays: "I hope you have had a great weekend & Thank you SO very much for all Your & Nicoles assistance in the straightening up of my accounts ". Air punches all round!

11.01.2022 Be alert, people!

10.01.2022 WARNING: FRAUDULENT EMAILS FROM ATO A number of our clients are receiving fraudulent emails purporting to be from the ATO, inviting you to log into the e-portaL to receive a refund. This e-portal asks you to enter credit card details (see attached image). THIS IS NOT SOMETHING YOU SHOULD DO -- it is a scam. ... Please be very wary of emails, even if they look real. If in doubt, phone the institution on their GENERAL number (not a phone number provided in the email), and check if they have actually contacted you. See more

08.01.2022 We have just been reminiscing over the lunch break about how much has happened in the past two years. We have welcomed Dan, our newest accountant, Therese our brand new receptionist, and have moved Thea into a new bookkeeping role. Nicole is still working very hard, keeping many of our clients happy. And, Phil is of course still running the show. Thats (quite) a few more coffees being consumed every week and a lot more work in and out the door!... Have a great week!

06.01.2022 Another phishy email. BEWARE FOLKS!

05.01.2022 If I had a dollar for every scam...

05.01.2022 FRIDAY REMINDER: The ATO is no longer issuing refund cheques. If you are expecting a refund this year, you will need to provide us with your bank account details for an electronic payment. Personally, we think it would be way more fun to be locked in a soundproof booth with *all that cash* flying round our heads. Ah, its good to dream... Happy Friday!

03.01.2022 Please be aware, there is yet another email scam where the sender purports to be from the Australian Tax Office. See below.

03.01.2022 Its a busy time of year for us. Yes, thats right us... we have THREE new employees on deck. Nicole, our resident part-time chartered accountant, Thea, our part-time receptionist and all-round go-to gal, and Tracey, our brand NEW superannuation specialist. All of us are working very hard to keep the cogs turning!

01.01.2022 Yet another scam was emailed to a client of ours last week! Be alert people! This one purportedly from NAB, claiming you have violated their terms and conditions. It of course asks you to click on a link to activate your account. PLEASE DO NOT CLICK ON ANY EMAIL LINKS to access your bank accounts. Your bank would never ask you to do this. If you get any emails from your bank asking you to do anything, phone your bank on their general number and ask if its a scam.
