Together with @jbs.excavation @structerre_consulting we ...were able to design this retaining wall with an easement very close and 3m below. From start to finish the job was completed in 3 days to give our great friends at Marque property the result both they and the client were hoping. 20.01.2022 Staff Spotlight Introducing Shane Just, National Business Improvement Manager, joined Structerre in 2004 Even as young as high school I had a fascination with housing and house designs, that was complimented with my enjoyment of technical drawing. I toyed with the idea of architecture but in the end chose engineering as my career. During university many of my colleagues were looking at getting into the mining sector, but I was still focussed on the construction industry. T...hankfully on completing my engineering degree I came across Structerre, which at that stage was just a WA based company. Structerre gave me the opportunity to combine my interest of housing with my engineering degree. After initially starting in the design department I moved over to the site team where I was able to use my practical mindset as well as my engineering knowledge in order to help our clients, the builders, construct people’s homes. The team here at Structerre are very supportive of one another. I am very lucky to have ended up at a company with such great colleagues doing work that I am passionate about. Structerre has also enabled me to grow from junior engineer to senior management. With my current role I am able to not only build on client relationships I can mentor the junior engineers ensuring the ongoing success of the business. See more

Our FIFO Technicians have been busy conducting a variety of material and compaction tests for the new autonomour haul road which will be used by the mine this year. 18.01.2022 Thursday Staff Spotlight Introducing Marcus Wilson, Solution Architect, IS Program Manager, joined Structerre in 2010 As I was growing up (on a building site!), my parents were laying bricks and eventually ended up building their own house. This meant that I became pretty familiar with the challenges of the site. Being a nerd growing up in the 80’s I also cut my teeth hacking TRS80’s Commodore 64’s and Macintosh computers.... The nineties and the oughties saw experience in offset, textile, electrical and digital print production, and production workflow optimisations. A chance meeting with a mate from high school led to a job opportunity with Structerre, and I immediately fell in love with the progressive, technical, and efficient philosophy from day one. Gervase’s list of visionary projects led from the front, helped by an awesome team. Fast forward and my last 10 years working with the team at Structerre has resulted in achieving many of Gervase’s visions, whilst encouraging my own growth, building a very talented team, and laying the vision and foundations for our next 10 years.

14.01.2022 The Strucform system requires only lightweight handheld power tools to install, minimum site access and soil disturbance during installation. The overall carbon-footprint is also significantly lower when compared to other traditional footing systems. Strucform will increase site efficiency through speed of installation, relative strength, price and environmental benefits. With our newly patented Sureslab with Strucform system now on the market, we wanted to answer some of the... most frequently asked questions regarding our newest innovation. Q: Does the Sureslab with Strucform system save time? A: By using Surefoot footings as part of the system it is almost certain to save time! Ultimately it depends what you are comparing it too, but in essence, any slab with piers will be done faster using a Sureslab with Strucform system. Q: Is the Sureslab with Strucform a fixed cost? A: For a fixed house type, yes. All the components of the Sureslab with Strucform system are known at the time of design and the system does have variables that cause cost blowouts such as excess concrete etc. Q: Is the Sureslab with Strucform system cheaper than standard forms of construction? A: That depends upon the site classification. Generally, it is currently cost equivalent to a H1 on piers in terms but that also depends on the market and labour pricing etc. The Sureslab with Strucform is almost always lower cost for H2 and E sites. Q: Can anyone design the Sureslab system with the Strucform edging? A: Yes, but as the system is fully patented to Structerre, only Structerre can issue documentation for the system. 14.01.2022 Congratulations to everyone who rode and participated in last weekend's Perth Ride to Conquer Cancer from Perth to Mandurah and back. For the forth year, our CEO, Gervase, rode in Team Mel's Breast Friends supporting the cause and raising a total of $17,069! With over 500 riders over two days and 200km, Team Mel's Breast Friends were proud to be part of such a worth cause. It was a great weekend of cycling Perth's majestic countryside in solidarity and promise to show that cancer is no match against riders conviction to conquer it. This year, the #RTCC has raised $3,523,541 - an awesome effort by the teams and sponsors. We look forward to being involved again next year and raising more funds for the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research and the move towards advancing cancer research.

The development consists of 93 townhouses.
