22.01.2022 From Tom: I could not agree more with this post. Where is this guy? He tells it like it is, and I want to meet him. I have just come back from three weeks of ...dissection, and I agree with all his findings about the tissues on cadavers (though we do not do the specific tests he did). I have likewise never seen a bursa between the lateral femoral condyle and the ITT. During the dissection exclusively for Japanese students with a lot of young personal trainers, I tried to justify foam-rolling the ITT - but halfheartedly, as I believe it is of extremely limited value. Its worth doing once or twice a year, but there are so many other places more productive to roll. (See my post from last year on foam rolling: https://www.anatomytrains.com//foam-rolling-and-self-myof/)

21.01.2022 GreenMedInfo.com (particularly work from Sayer Ji) has always been my favourite health research site - their main agenda is to comb mainstream medical research to bring you the latest alternative health news. This is a disaster for us and future generations :(

16.01.2022 Its a brave new world! And I am thrilled to be part of it... "The researchers stuck tiny magnetic beads to proteins attached to the external membranes of hamst...er cells. They were able to change the direction and angle of the force the beads exerted while maintaining a consistent magnitude of the force, and found that the external force directly caused regions of chromatin in the nucleus to stretch out. Chromatin is the condensed DNA and protein mixture that makes up chromosomes. Using advanced imaging techniques, the researchers found an increase in transcription of the genes in the stretched regions." See more

15.01.2022 This video deserves to be shared far and wide - with your mom, your grandmother, grandfather, your brother, your pregnant cousin, YOUR FRIENDS AND YOUR DOCTOR....... PLEASE HELP SHARE THIS ALERT AND CALL TO ACTION: The AMA has decided your 12 year old can decide if the benefits of vaccination can outweigh the risks and consent to it without involving their parents. What do you think? If you think this is an egregious overstep of the medical-industrial establishment send a clear message to the AMA and Pharma you disagree! https://standforhealthfreedom.com//protect-children-by-pre

01.01.2022 From Tom: Structural bodyworkers tend to prize symmetry, checking whether the shoulders are level, the neutrality of the pelvis, the balance of the curves in ...the spine. We tut over and try to correct asymmetries in the cranium, the feet, and especially the hips. But asymmetry is built into us from the beginning, and very deeply. This article talks about asymmetries (of unknown origin, despite the title) in the spinal cord. One could point way back to the one-way spiral of the DNA as possible source of our asymmetry, or all the way back to the asymmetry that caused our whole universe to exist at all. IOW, God needs asymmetry. For my money, the most interesting probable precursor to the bodys asymmetries is the looping of the large intestine, the first asymmetry to appear in the digestive system (the stomach and the liver slide in opposite directions later). But dont let the apparent symmetry of the muscle-skeletal (oops, neuromyofascial) system fool you - most of human movement is built on asymmetry and precession, the constant recovery of balance from imbalance, only to lose and recover it again. Try standing absolutely still if you dont believe me - you will find your best efforts result instead in a constant tiny dance of falling and recovery.
