Acknowledgement and thanks were given to our 2020 Leaders for the effort and commitment they have shown this year. The planting of a rose bush in the College garden provides a lasting reminder of their time served as leaders. Celebrations continued as the current Leaders presented a rose to congratulate and welcome each of the newly elected leaders for 2021.... #MercyGirlsareleaders

03.01.2022 As part of the RE unit Is good for me good for all?, the Year 7 students investigated the Catholic Social Teaching of ‘The Common Good’ as well as exploring the concept of social sin. They chose a justice issue of interest to them and analysed how the issue contributed to social sin and failed to uphold the teachings of Jesus and what is in the best interests of all. The unit culminated in the creation of a piece of wearable art that challenges people to act in a way that does promote ‘The Common Good’. The students really enjoyed painting their t-shirts to raise awareness about their chosen issue.

02.01.2022 Standing together to see our girls get home...
