18.01.2022 We saw this Chalk Art Project on Instagram and wanted to give it a go! Clementine and Donna traced out the pattern with masking tape underneath the PACE Centre. We made a big rectangle and divided it into different shapes. We encourage everyone from all congregations and other members of our community to come, join the fun and colour! ... You can come in through the back gate, the chalk is in the sink by the wall and if you need more light, the switches are near the green chairs. Just remember to turn them off, please! When you have coloured in your part, remember to add your name, take a photo of your part and then one of the whole pattern and send it to: [email protected] OR [email protected] Once the whole rectangle is coloured in we are going to take a picture of the finished project and enter it into the St. Swithuns Art Exhibition. Further details about this event will be revealed once we are closer to the date!

12.01.2022 Coffee culture was booming in Australia pre-Covid-19. Lingering over a nice cuppa with a friend had become part and parcel of most people's weekly regime. Besides helping to deepen existing friendships, the opportunity was also there to get to know new people. It's not surprising, then, to hear more and more talk now about how important it is for our mental health that we find alternative ways to "touch base" with others. Cue our weekly Virtual Morning Tea! Judy Caldwell wil...l be joining us as our guest tomorrow morning from her sunny deck in Barrington. I'm really looking forward to getting to know Judy a little better as until very recently I didn't even know she used to be on the staff at Swiz. Why not join us? You'll be most welcome.
