25.01.2022 For National Science Week, our senior students hosted a science expo. Throughout the day, every class visited to explore, create and discover the many amazing things that science can do. A day filled with wonder and discovery and many bangs and explosions!

20.01.2022 Today our year 6s performed a reenactment of the Nativity story to the year 2s. They both loved deepening their knowledge of the Story this way, sharing lots of ‘I wonder’ questions and discovering the richness of this beautiful piece of scripture.

20.01.2022 What a fabulous two days of filming! Thanks to our very talented and amazing music teacher Susan Czabayski and our film producer and editor Matt Richards Creative Digital Learning. We can’t wait to see the final cut!



18.01.2022 Our year 6s has set up their own business as part of their business and economics unit. They will be selling their home made products at Market Monday tomorrow at 3pm. All profits go to the Breast cancer foundation. Please come along and support this cause. Products range from 50c to $6 We look forward to seeing you all at our marketplace!

17.01.2022 Our after school sport program resumed today with a year 2 & 3 session of dance in our fantastic new facility The Dance Hall.

17.01.2022 Our year ones had a very exciting visit from the police last week. The visit focused on learning about what the police do in our community, how to keep safe and what to do in case of emergency.

16.01.2022 Today the Mayor of Unley, Michael Hewitson came to endorse the beautiful artwork our year Sixes created with Artist in Residence Anna Dowling at our school assembly. The art they created tells the narrative of our school and is now hanging in our main corridor. One is titled The Gathering and the other Community. We are so grateful to the Unley council for making this happen.

16.01.2022 Last night our seniors participated in a Vinnies Winter Sleepout to raise money and awareness for those in need this winter. It was a cold and uncomfortable night which gave us some perspective on how difficult the winter months can be for some people. So far weve raised $3000! We are very proud of you all.



15.01.2022 Yesterday all students from years 4-6 participated in the Catholic Schools Cross Country Carnival. Well done to all students - especially Matthew, Nico, Luke, Diana, Max, Sophie, Madeleine, Sam, Maddi and Eden for their high achievements and for placing in the top ten for their age group.

15.01.2022 A huge congratulations also to Sidney Young who won first prize in the Oliphant Science Awards for his innovative model and invention. Well done Sidney!

14.01.2022 A beautiful day honouring Remembrance day and also doing our ‘walk for Justice’ to raise money for Catholic Charities. We ended the day by forming a heart as a whole school with our poppies. Lest we forget.

12.01.2022 A bit of St Thomas history! This is a photo of the first teacher at St Thomas. She is the great grandmother of our current Year Three teacher Gerry Jones. Her name is Margaret Clark. Margaret Street, Clarence Park is named after her. We love the rich history and tradition of our school

Some of the things they like about school include playing, painting, learning, reading and writing and drawing pictures of spiders! We love the energy, sense of delight and curiosity that they bring to our school community

Each year many of our students enter this competition to extend their application of science, technology and mathematics. Some students also enter the writing section too! What a great initiative.

04.01.2022 On Friday, our year 6 Future Coaches hosted a future coaching leadership day. 60 senior students from schools around the state came to learn from our PE teacher and our students about leadership in sport. It was a fabulous day!
