20.01.2022 The Calamities will be back at the Merton on June 10th. Not long! So it's a Saturday night, and because I get bored easy I promise to throw in heaps of different stuff to the last gig. 20.01.2022 Thanks to the 250 or so people who came to the gig at Bawley Vale Estate winery last weekend. It seems to get better each time we play there. If you're down that way stop in, the wine is excellent.
19.01.2022 Well be back at The Merton on Friday 10th of November, with a host of guests and a bunch of new songs, and a mystery drummer. If I get motivated I might even film some of the goings-on for a few upcoming videos. So come on down it'll be geat.

11.01.2022 Half The Calamities took a trip to Dangar Island on the weekend to do set at the local bowling club, which is the only watering hole on the island and was packed for a great night. Big thanks to A bloke called Gordon who came out of nowhere to join us with his mandolin, (and could actually play it as well) and Pauline on the drums and percussion, who has a band of her own on the island consisting of 60 year old+ women and call themselves The Motherf*****s. Not what I was expecting, but the place was full of life, a really great vibe. We'll be back as soon we can.
10.01.2022 Behind every great band there is a great manager. Although ours has had a fairly limited impact on our careers to date I thought I should give him a mention. I give you Sid, the brains behind the Calamities. Also, it's time to get off our backsides, so we have a gig at The Merton, Rozelle, on Friday, May 19. Get there its going to be big.
