25.01.2022 I've been out disturbing the small things in the world again. I snagged these on Thursday and didn't get around to working them up until this morning.

22.01.2022 I just nipped out for a quick bug shoot at Berrinba. The ability to shoot in the wild, hand held with a macro lens that is basically a 35mm SLR microscope is not a learn-it-once-like-riding-a-bike thing. It deteriorates with time not taken doing it.

19.01.2022 A really shiny green beetle (Green Scarab Beetle - Diphucephala sp.) and the largest locust I've ever seen showed up in our garden a couple of days ago.

08.01.2022 We had a lovely warm late Winter's day here in Brisbane today. The air was full of the scent of wattle flowers (the smell of custard and honey) and I decided to see what creatures were around in the local wetlands. There was plenty going on. No birds on pelican island though, so they may be away at lake Eyre breeding, which is where they go for some 'special cuddles' it seems.

02.01.2022 I did a spot of bug shooting in the garden today between rain showers.

01.01.2022 Colleen did her first TV ad shoot today for the Go Get (car/van share/hire) company and Channel 9. They did it at Berrinba and since, for the sake of humanity, I didn't want to be involved, I took a macro camera and did some shooting. Arachnophobes - there were a lot of spiders about.
