21.01.2022 On 26 November 2019 Cr Walton and myself moved a motion to help protect our beaches from pollution. We asked Council to write, sign and commit to a zero waste to ocean charter and after 12 months its here and completed. We worked with staff, our Environment committee and the community to develop a set of guidelines and principles for our Council and other Councils to work by to help reduce and achieve zero waste entering our waterways. ... As the architect behind this project I am extremely proud to be able to deliver another piece of environmental protection policy through my role as a councillor helping create a better cleaner world to live in.

20.01.2022 Last year I moved a motion to support the retention of the slow ferry to Manly. It’s a iconic service that compliments the tourist industry in Manly. Thank you James for your support.

19.01.2022 Exciting News !!! When I first got elected I campaigned hard for a B-line style bus service between Dee Why and Chatswood for the People of Frenchs Forest. I happy to announce that the NSW State Goverment has honoured their election commitment and the new service will be operating by this December. ... A big shout out to Premier Gladys Berejiklian, James Griffin Mp for their strong support in delivering this vital infrastructure for our area of French’s Forest, thank you.

13.01.2022 FURTHER COVID-19 UPDATE - with clearer map guidance Please see the latest zones NSW Government has put in place for our area. Effective from midnight tonight. Northern Beaches peninsula zone (North of Narrabeen Bridge, and east of the Baha’i Temple):... You can leave home to visit the home of others who live within this zone. Up to 5 visitors (total, including children) are allowed in homes as long as they reside in the peninsula zone. People may not enter or leave this zone, unless for the four approved reasons already in place. On December 27, the region will revert to existing restrictions. Southern Northern Beaches zone: You can leave home to visit the home of others who live within this zone. Up to 10 visitors (plus primary school children and younger) will be allowed in homes. This may include people from outside this zone, not including the Northern Beaches peninsula zone. People who reside outside the northern beaches are allowed to visit others in this zone. Residents of this zone may not leave, unless for the four approved reasons already in place. We will reassess restrictions in this zone following Boxing Day.

12.01.2022 For three years I’ve been fighting for funding to upgrade Forestville shopping centre, well its time, time for you to have your say. Below is a link to the concept plans for you to have your say. We have engaged the same designers that did the plans for Killarney shops, and if you haven’t been up to see it yet, then I recommend you do, its fantastic and the local businesses love it. ... Please lets all get behind this and show your support by liking and sharing my page. I want to give a big shout out to all the council staff and businesses that have worked tirelessly on helping me bring this project to you for your consideration. #northernbeachescouncil #thecentreforestville #thebeacheshinterland https://yoursay.northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au//forestville-sh

09.01.2022 After 3 years of advocating for the people of Killarney I am proud to see this project finally finished. Get along and check out the new playground and landscaping and help support this amazing little village. https://www.northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au//check-out-killarne

08.01.2022 Just over 12 months ago I moved a urgency motion through council to save the freshwater class ferry for heritage and tourism value for Manly. Since then James Griffin MP has been working hard and has managed to save one ferry, but we need two. We will be making a stand on Thursday to show our support for these old lady’s of the sea. ... Please join us as we catch the ferry to circular quay to show the state government how important these boats are.

06.01.2022 That’s how many apprenticeships Northern Beaches council has. Do you think this is acceptable? As one of the largest employers on the Northern Beaches, I believe we have a social responsibility to train our youth. ... While some other councillors argued that apprenticeships are irrelevant at Northern Beaches Council, I support our trades and teaching our youth skills for life. Last week I moved a motion to investigate a program to increase our training programs including apprenticeships within our organisation. The federal government recognises the importance of trades and apprenticeships and have announced a $1.2 billion package to support apprenticeships and training.

04.01.2022 ITS OPEN !!!!! Great to be with the crew from Dirtart at the opening of the new world class mountain biking track at the old belrose tip site at Crozier Rd off Forestway. 04.01.2022 Can’t Emphasise how important this next 48 hours is to controlling this outbreak. please read the following and stay home to give the contact tracers a chance to get on top of this.

03.01.2022 Great to be at Vincent De Luca’s OAM, White ribbon event raising money and awareness about domestic violence. Such a important issue that needs to be addressed and stamped out in all communities. Thank you Vince for all that you do in this field. Here with Jean Hay AM, Former Mayor of Manly, Cllr David Walton, Cr Rory Amon, and Lynleigh from Sydney wildlife rescue.

01.01.2022 I want more, apprenticeships, traineeships and scholarships for our kids at Northern Beaches Council. Youth unemployment in Australia is at 16% due Covid and as one of the largest employers on the Northern Beaches we have a social responsibility to train and educate our children for the jobs of tomorrow.
