03.01.2022 Part of the beauty of the Variety Bash NT is going to places so remote, there's no phone coverage or wifi, so we can tune out and enjoy the ride (yes, we still ...have sat phones for any emergencies!). So bare with us if we go a bit radio silent- you'll just have to come along next year and see what the fuss is all about! Yesterday Bashers drove a whopping 269kms for the entire day, heading from Curtin Springs to Stuarts Well Roadhouse via Henbury Meteorites Conservation Reserve. We got in a good 100km of sandy, corrugated dirt to quench their Bash thirst as well as being treated to ration lunch by Mash on Bash and arvo tea of the famous Camel Curd and jerky thanks to Car#55 The Camel Car! Thanks to hosts Spud & Judy at Stuarts Well who have been a fantastic help. Today Bashers hit the road again heading to Rocky Hill Grape Farm, total km's for the day.... 157km! Needless to say it will be packed full of mudguard parties!! They'll still get a good 60kms of dirt in there too. Ahhhh, this is the life!
