18.01.2022 Business & Technology trip to Japan 2018 Student Educational Adventures recently hosted a carefully planned student tour for The Business & Economics Department from an International school in the Middle East. We led a party size of 32 students to the fascinating country of Japan where ancient traditions are fused with modern life. The trip begun in Tokyo where students enjoyed the buzzing districts; Shubuya District and the famous Harajuku area, then onto the impressive Mu...seum of Emerging Science where students met the famous robot Asimo who can sing, dance, hop and kick a football as well as discover space equipment. Here they viewed how Japan is monitoring their earthquake activities too. This place blew students away! The tour then headed to Nagoya where students toured the car assembling plant of Toyota to see automation at its best. To witness mass production is an incredible opportunity; 400 robots making 1600 cars per day! Then onto Kyoto where students soaked up ancient Japanese culture touring this stunning city where Memoirs of a Geisha was filmed, Geisha spotting bike rides and a walk through the beautiful Bamboo Forest. Any true business guru will appreciate and learn the importance of culture in business in Japan as our students did. Osaka next which they all loved dearly! Here students caught a glimpse of products and services that will be available for our future-ready students; including a new modern online shopping system from the comfort of your own home, virtual reality tour, A-class shopping in Osaka and a tour of the Ecology Centre that explained the world landmark of the Kyoto Protocol. Japan stole the students hearts; they dressed in Kimonos for dinner, ate traditional Japanese cuisine with chop sticks, travelled to cities on the Bullet Train (Shinkansen), visited sky scrapers, temples, shrines, the Imperial Palace, Central Bank of Japan, soaked up the Japanese culture in every shape and form and learned all about the Business and Economics concepts along the way. This WAS the trip of a lifetime and in Japanese: !!

09.01.2022 CHINA Student Educational Adventures has just completed another survey trip around parts of eastern and southern China to explore educational activities, sights and attractions for future school groups. This survey trip included the Volkswagen car production plant tour and briefing, an evening boat cruises on the Hoang Pu River and the Urban Planning Centre in Shanghai.... From here we ventured to Nanjing to explore the local zoo with its Red and Black Pandas, the ancient citadel wall and a historical survey of the Nanjing Memorial site to learn about the Japanese atrocities that occurred here in 1937. The last section of the survey trip included exploring the beautiful geography and rock formations around Guilin and the 600-year old villages of Longsheng. Amongst the terraced villages we found new (old) traditional homes and stunning trekking routes to take future school groups. Other ‘hands on’ activities included Tai Chi introductory classes, tofu making and traditional fan making and painting. Not to mention the various forms of transport available including bicycle rides in small villages, fast trains between cities, local style tuk tuks, underground metro systems for groups interested in urban exploring and boat trips amongst geographical wonders. On this survey trip we were able to develop and modify many new and exciting experiences and activities to include in future tours. China is breathtaking in so many ways! Let the photos tell the story..
