25.01.2022 We went for a short cruise on Saturday for International Drive Your Studebaker Day. Our half-baked plan to try to get a photo of the Lark with the Spirit of Tasmania (ferry) in the background went out the window as the traffic was insane and the sun would be in the wrong place for a decent shot. So instead we lobbed on son Anthony at his workplace by the bay and grabbed a few pics before dusk.

24.01.2022 This is always a great weekend.

24.01.2022 Despite an icy wind and showers, this was a great turnout of fabulous vehicles. The whole weekend was a blast!

24.01.2022 Judging in progress at SCCA Concours at Eastern Beach. Awesome day!

23.01.2022 Deserted Melbourne...

All are welcome to bring there Studebaker goodies to sell and you just migh...t find the part you are after. If you are planning to attend the breakfast, please let our clubs social secretary know, so we have confirmed numbers for food. Hope to see you all there. See more

18.01.2022 Looks like the Grease Lark has been repurposed. Good to see it out and about.

17.01.2022 The Concours at Geelong was a great event again this year. Congrats to Michael and his team for a great job. Here are just a few of the cars on display...

17.01.2022 Here is a little nostalgia from our trip to South Bend in 1976. It shows some of the run-down buildings used to produce the Avanti in the post-Studebaker era and to market the remaining stock of Studebaker parts. Thats a very much younger Alan peering into the building.

15.01.2022 We are very saddened to hear of June's passing. We have known June and Jim through the Studebaker club for more than 50 years and shared many great times. June was the life of every party and will be greatly missed. Our sincere condolences go to Jim, Colin and Graeme and their families. Alan and Lois Heyde

14.01.2022 New locally manufactured radiator hoses are made to factory patterns, as supplied to the assemblers within Australia. They will fit most left and right hand drive vehicles.

11.01.2022 Lovely to see Primrose the 1938 Studebaker convertible at Eastern Beach. She is super original. In the bottom picture taken five years ago, shes doing a great job on Santa duty.

11.01.2022 Great turnout! Very impressive considering 10 members cars were simultaneously on show at the Grand Prix. Fabulous weekend of exposure for the club at both these events.

09.01.2022 A few decals, etc. that we have in stock...prices per sticker, postage extra

09.01.2022 Mark this one on your calendar.

07.01.2022 Wow. A 16 page spread on our Club Avantis in Unique Car Magazine out now.

06.01.2022 There will be a great collection of 1950s Studebakers at this event.

06.01.2022 Details now available for the 2021 Studebaker National Meet to be held at Lakes Entrance. Excited about it already!

05.01.2022 This vintage picture was taken by avid Melbourne photographer Angus OCallaghan around 1968-1971. Its pleasing composition combines the Australia Hotel in Collins Street, an elegant couple waiting to cross the road and a Studebaker Lark cruising on by. http://thedesignfiles.net/2016//melbourne-angus-ocallaghan/

03.01.2022 A few more pictures from the recent SCCA Concours at Eastern Beach, Geelong.

02.01.2022 Flashback to 2014....the Grease car gets some TLC.

01.01.2022 The Daily Driver... Small challenges today with the auto selector inhibitor switch snapping = no start! Old cars are pretty forgiving though - disengage the switch, drive to the dealer and 10 minutes later, a new switch fitted and off you go.... Try doing that with a BMW!

01.01.2022 This delightful 1947 M5 Pickup won Peoples Choice at the recent Studebaker Concours at Eastern Beach, Geelong.

01.01.2022 We're a little past the halfway mark of our six week stage-4 lockdown. Melbourne CBD is like a ghost town. While we are not permitted to see customers face-to-face, we're still supplying parts all around the country via Australia Post. It seems a few restorations are getting renewed attention due to the current situation and we look forward to seeing them on the road when this thing is under control.
