15.01.2022 ‘Picking Flowers’ I am lucky enough to live in Toowoomba Australia (the garden city). Every year we celebrate our beautiful city with The Carnival of Flowers. This year because of COVID we weren’t able to hold our traditional carnival parade or our Food festival. But our parks and gardens are blooming and magnificent and open to everyone. 05.01.2022 While I don’t work in just one medium, there is something special to me about encaustic wax. I have been painting with this gorgeous paint for 7 years and I’m always discovering new ways to create beautiful art with it. I have layered, collages, sculptured, etched, imbedded and painted with this ancient medium. I have to admit I am a little obsessed with it.
