15.01.2022 ARE YOU HEAT ADAPTED? Typically it takes 7 days to become heat adapted within our infrared saunas, so if you have been absent from using any type of saunas or steam rooms then chances are you will need to become 'heat adapted' again. Once your body is heat adapted you will be able to withstand higher temperatures for longer periods of time and you will also start to sweat earlier into your sauna session. ... If you are using our saunas for the first or even second time it is best to start of slow, at lower temperatures for shorter sessions. For example you can start off between 40-50c for 15mins then come out of the sauna for a break and go back in for another 15min and so on. **Every body is different and can cope with different levels of heat for different periods of time.
