02.01.2022 Have you seen the line up for NGV Triennial 2020? Jeff Koons, Patricia Urquiola, Cecilie Bendixon and wait for it. .ILAN EL!!! I am absolutely delighted and honoured to be listed amongst such amazing and distinguished artists with the conceptual piece, Ora Light - interactive eclipse. Ora created quite a stir in the art and design world when displayed at Light + Life in conjunction with the National Gallery of Victoria for Melbourne Design Week 2019.... Never has it been more important for the spaces we inhabit to be nurturing, uplifting and engaging. I am constantly drawn towards the way design affects people and my ability as a designer to create spatial experiences. With the ability to highlight, shift mood, create ambience and have a strong presence as a design object in its own right, lighting is the ultimate design challenge. From this exploration Ora was born. As a result I was ecstatic when NGV commissioned Ora to be included in the Triennial 2020.
