He would take the time to show me all sorts of things from how to bait up a fishing rod, the best oil to put in a car and how to care for and walk the dogs, all with the patience of a Saint! One of my most favourite memories with him, was to drive down to the beaches at Lennox or Byron Bay for a swim, in his ‘77 Valiant Regal. We used to sing all the way there and back to Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers or Slim Dusty. Miss those magical days of sun, sand and fish and chips, that seemed to go on forever!" - Maya Sheridan
