ART e-Parties is a place where artists can present their work to the world and audiences can enjoy the fruits of creativity from the safety and comfort of their living room. Its an international platform developed in the heart of regional Australia. The story was co-written by Studio 138 co-owner, Erifili Davis and the producer, US medical professional Dr Nilesh Panchal. We have 2 projects we've been involved with selected for the film festival this year: a romantic comedy drama, "Together Apart"; and a gangster-Noir music video for Indistinct Chatter's recording of "Rising Sun". 21.01.2022 The first of our Small Space Gigs, recorded live at Studio 138, Dubbo. "Aint Done Yet", performed by Tarry Tree and Friends. "Aint Done Yet" is an original song by Dubbo muscian and SOMAD member, Michael Davis. Mick is also co-owner of Studio 138. Of the song, Mick says: "This song was born out of a little chord progression that recently came into my head. A melody line followed, and then some lyrics that I thought my beautiful niece Liz would be happy to sing. This is our... pilot Small Space Gig and I want to thank all of those who contributed to this concept. Small Space Gigs is a concept Studio 138 put together to share locally made live music online. As well as music, we plan to share other local creative collaborations through this channel - watch this space. 16.01.2022 We were so excited to have Indistinct Chatter's "Rising Sun" music video kicking off Dubbo Filmmakers 2020 One Eye Film Festival last night. It was great to see the music video on the big screen at Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre. We are so proud of all the cast, crew and musos involved. Special mention to Daniel Rutter Films for the incredible visuals and Wez Hot Trax Recording Studios for the mixing, arranging and scorching guitar solo. A big thank you to Dubbo Regional Council and Dubbo Film Society who support events like this and encourage creativity in the region. These are paid acting roles with the main filming to occur over 1 to 2 days. You do not need to have any paid or film acting experience, but any previous acting experience (even doing Drama at school) would be an advantage. Auditions will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021.
