19.01.2022 I painted this about 10 years ago in response to Black Saturday. I have never displayed it before for general viewing. At the time I was trying to apply Japanese water techniques to oil. This is 'Colours of Fire Number 4'.

05.01.2022 Question. What do you do when you can't travel far? Answer. Look back on where you have been in the last few years. Lake Mungo was a standout for me in recent years and was great to paint. This painting 'Shadows of Mungo' was interpreted from some photographs I took, September 2018.

03.01.2022 Man in a Bubble was originally painted five years ago, but l have never regarded it as complete. It is a commentary on what is happening in our oceans as they take up carbon dioxide. Hopefully, humans are now coming out of the bubble and are serious at last at tackling climate change.
03.01.2022 Ray Dahlstrom is a local artist from Inverloch, not only does he paint but he also dabbles in sculpture! He has exhibits locally, as well as in Melbourne. Like... his life, his art has taken many directions. Having never had any formal training, he is not controlled by convention, and everything he does is a learning experience.
