20.01.2022 Isolation hair transformation! 2020 has been busy for @melinda_s_81 we havent seen each other since her Christmas appointment! Also we have changed our hair plan, more natural and shorter. Easy hair! #isohaircut a massive 5 inches off, I think I cut it 3 times! Colour was less is more, 15 highlight tint face frame foils and a evoke toner on old colour. Thats it softening the grow out line but also bright and softer blonde, beige blonde for the win! 19.01.2022 More colour correction this afternoon on Annie my lovely client all the way from Wangaratta!! We have been growing out the grey! It is going so well! Absolutely stocked with this transition, especially during a pandemic! A hair cut can really change a colour!! Swipe thought to see. I cut first then added 10 darkest brown foils, medium-weave then toned for 10mins with a Demi Ash by @pure_haircare thats it Tone lasts up to 5 weeks. Annie uses @olaplexau Olaplex 4-5-6 at home and every 2 weeks uses @fanola no yellow shampoo. We rebook our appointments every 2-3 months! Thats easy hair! @ Studio-442 Hairdressing

17.01.2022 Soft full coverage by @pure_haircare I talk a lot about coverage to my clients. GREYS, such a dirty wordBlend them, cover them, soften the regrowth all terms for a permanent colour. Here is example of a once wiggy tint that I have blended out with a soft sheer tint, there is dimension and shine, I also did a halo shimmer of highlights and a few pops of bronze blonde on top. Hair is soft and shiny, lived in colour!

Getting the old 2-3week golden brown tint removed, going blonde, was light and beige. Then moving to a more striking colour. Loving all the changes! Trust the process, things take time. 14.01.2022 WOW! I love this colour!! On the lovely @smeaney3 Was so great to chat up! October was our last session, hair needed the works!! I cut the hair first and then we discussed and discovered that we both liked the lightness but not the tone, bronze brassy wasnt the vibe we where going for. So what to do rose gold, chocolates or copper ?? ALL OF THEM! Melt!! Love the result! 13.01.2022 I am so happy with this colour correction! Its a winner!! Swipe thought to see the changes over 24 weeks. Becca won a voucher and @pure_haircare pack in July 2019. Beccas first appointment was in November 2019, her hair was over processed, had breakage, the colour was uneven. Was it highlights that had turned to a full colour It was a mess! Also not at all what Becca wanted. Today was our 3 session, the banding has gone and we are both comfortable with this amo...unt of colour, sandy blonde, natural tones with a fabulous shine!! 12.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT It was only 10 years ago I started this chapter of my life in Balmain, 5 years after that I opened Studio-442, then I got married and had a baby. It's been a wild decade full of laughter, love and humility. I would not change a thing! With that said It is with mixed emotions that I publicly confirm I am moving to the ACT with Daniel and Jack. I am retiring from Studio-442 Hairdressing. We as a family are so excited to start the next chapter of our lives.... I have enjoyed these last 5 years in my Studio so much, a life goal becoming reality! I made something really special. My beautiful Studio-442 will be handed over to Ree in late November 2020. Introducing Ree swipe though pictures. Ree is a very accomplished stylist/blondeoligist colourist, ironically relocating from the ACT to Sydney. Ree will be the energy and breath of fresh hair vibes to Studio-442. It was so lover’s to hang out this morning with Ree and talk all things Studio! I would like to thank all my clients ‘Bec tribe’ for trusting me with your hair over the last 24 years. Thank you for your support of my micro business, all the chats, laughs and gossip! 09.01.2022 Goal 1 shade lighter, brighter but not blonde! Challenging but we got it!! Using Davines progress lightener, low developer @davines_australia then to lighten to the right level! This is key, dont go to light! @fee2db base was nice, but all over it looked a shady level 7 brown. We wanted a level lighter and brighter(with some pops of cremè) I did a classic 1/2 head of colour correction foils, checking every 20mins till we had a 8.3-9.3 match. 02.01.2022 Over 3 months Regrowth and a bit of correction to be done on Alex today. Root glow and dark dull ends. @davines_australia ANC and there 000 to the rescue!! A deep cool@root smudge on the roots past the band then a balayage ends with dark and rich tones to blend, soften and add texture. Followed by an Oi Oil treatment and a new style cut by me. 02.01.2022 Cheers to the new natural! Best day ever, my client of 10 years Mrs Campbell. We where inspired by @jackmartincolorist the master! This took 6 hours in total, but totally worth it!!
