22.01.2022 A massive shout out to the incredible students from Perth Modern School who came on the weekend to finish off the incredible mural they have been painting for us! We had students from Years 7, 8, 10 and 11 - and the result is amazing!

21.01.2022 We were lucky enough to have a visit from the Kensington Fire Station this week! We got to try on the uniform and spray the huge hose. Community engagement is so enjoyable for us and enables the children to experience something very exciting and informative. Firefighter Paul and his crew had the children enthralled. 20.01.2022 Today we had a visit from John McBain from Community Gardens Australia and SUN (Sustainable Urban Nutrition). John reached out to us after seeing an article in the local paper about our brand new edible garden. Some of our children joined John and the staff in our side garden and got their hands dirty planting plants in our raised garden beds down there. 20.01.2022 Today we had a fun visit from the St Johns Ambulance 000 Hero Program. We got to go inside of an ambulance and learnt about the very special phone number we can call in case of an emergency - 000!

18.01.2022 Did you know that you can book our private offices or boardroom after hours and weekends? Our regular office hours are 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday (meaning a whole 11 hour day in a private office is only $49.50!) but if you wish to book outside of those hours, just reach out to us at [email protected] or 61113072 and we are happy to set you up for this. All of our office bookings include one onsite carpark (unless it’s after hours or on the weekend, then it’s all yours), free tea and coffee plus WIFI. What’s not to like

16.01.2022 This special little lady spent such a long time threading all of these coloured buttons on to a shoelace. She used so much time and care. She was sitting in the indoor/outdoor area with lots of other children playing nearby but she wasnt once distracted from her task. My business is coaching and training people to manage conflict more constructively - CCIAcademy.com - working towards a more peaceful future!... How has COVID-19 affected your business? COVID-19 initially created some challenges as I had to cancel some live events and training, but then I had the benefit of having online training programs already set up, so I was able to adapt very quickly! What is something positive personally or professionally that you feel has come out of the pandemic? I think we are starting to realise (a) how easy it is to work online and from home but (b) the value of face-to-face interactions. How has Studio 64 played a part in your business? Studio 64 is a place I can go to work when I need to get out of the house. It has a range of rooms that suit me in different circumstances - smaller rooms for one-on-one coaching, and the board room for small group training sessions. Its also a nice backdrop for professional photos (see below!)

14.01.2022 The Babies had a great sensory experience today with a paddling pool filled with sand, leaves and flowers. Squishing, sifting, scrunching sand! Some babies were super keen to get their hands in there, others werent so sure. Its lovely to bring these different experiences to children as they navigate the world around them

Things are heating up in the offices so you may have noticed its getting a little harder to book. BUT you can always drop us a line at [email protected] and we will see what we can work out. You can also send through a list of date for us to manually book in for you, even allllll the way to the end of the year if you s...o wish. We will then just invoice you monthly. Convenience. 10.01.2022 Time for another "Meet the Business" for one of our office clients! Today we are chatting to Lauren (on the left) from Optimal Living Therapy 1.) Describe your business.... a. Optimal Living Therapy is an occupational therapy provider mainly to the NDIS in community disability services. We support our clients with their equipment, accommodation and therapy needs. Our entire team is based in their own homes as our business involves visiting clients in their homes and communities not a clinic. 2.) How has COVID-19 affected your business? a. We have been fortunate to have been relatively stable throughout COVID. We service a very vulnerable population of people so we chose to go virtual for 6 weeks entirely to minimise risk to our clients and staff when things were very uncertain, and returned to low risk face to face visits since early May. Given we are already a remote, work from home team there wasnt a drastic change to our way of business. 3.) What is something positive personally or professionally that you feel has come out of the pandemic? a. I think our clients and team responded really collaboratively and cohesively to a change in service delivery, having therapy sessions virtually is not something we usually do so it required a lot of team work. We are fortunate our clients and staff are wonderfully adaptive. 4.) How has Studio 64 played a part in your business? a. It has provided a space where our team can meet in person when we need to, we like to maintain face to face contact quarterly for a team day and on an ad-hoc basis otherwise. Its in a convenient central location, its easy to book and theres plenty of parking! Thank you Lauren!

06.01.2022 Honestly, this was a sight to behold today. The Kinders took inspiration from getting their hands on a huge fridge box and from that they have created a 3 sided set to act out the play The Three Little Pigs. One side is made from straw, one is from sticks and one is from bricks. The kids take turns to be the pig and the wolf and the best bit is when the wolf blows down the building because out pops Sweta with the leaf blower, making a blowing noise and making all the kids scream with delight It was totally the highlight of my day. 01.01.2022 What an absolute cracker of a day! We had our annual Fathers Day celebration and what an amazing turn out of Dads we had! We had tie decorating, seed planting, cookie decorating, a photo booth, yummy food and of course our amazing Dads! Thank you to each and every one of you for being there! AND it was also National Educator Day. The lovely Dee came to visit us and each Educator was treated to a 10 min massage - our amazing staff all looked so relaxed afterwards. We had so many yummy treats in the staff room thanks to our parents and fellow educators and a big shout out to Chanele who made such a lovely effort to create a beautiful waiting space for the massages. We are so grateful for everything our incredible Educators do everything single day!
