23.01.2022 This visual render of our own project @casa_del_sol__ is giving us all the feels as we can finally imagine ourselves entertaining on our courtyard in the warm summer evenings with our friends! We bought our apartment this time last year, and the reno has been on hold while we've been living in WA. The reno hiatus has given us time to carefully consider how we can utilise every inch of the apartment to make it work perfectly for our lifestyle. We love to entertain and spending time outdoors, so making the courtyard feel like an extension of our living space was important to us. I'll be sharing more of our reno plans over the coming weeks!

17.01.2022 The kitchen truly is the heart of the home, especially when you love to cook and entertain friends! Previously the exterior balcony at @casa_del_sol__, we now have a kitchen with ample storage (which was essential as we've accumulated every kitchen appliance and utensil under the sun ), a large gas cooktop, double pantry and small island. Smart spatial planning has given flexibility to how we use this space the kitchen and dining have become one, with the island bench incorporating a built-in seat for the dining table, a sliding rattan door reveals a study nook docking either over the tv wall cabintery or closing off the hallway, and the space flows into the living and out to the courtyard, creating an open plan living space perfect for entertaining.
16.01.2022 Stopped by the @ecooutdoor showroom and I’m ready to move in... natural tactile textures on every surface! Sourcing materials is one of my favourite stages of a project. Seeing how the samples come together is incredibly satisfying. I'll be sharing some material palette's soon.
