22.01.2022 It’s ok to ask for some help when needed 2 more days to wrap up 2020, I’m so close to achieve the goal I set myself this quarter. Really, almost there. Just needed a little push . Lucky we are all in lockdown and I have my support team near by 24/7... Now, looking for new goal ideas for 2021. Feel free to share in the comments.... 21.01.2022 New quarter, new goals Knowing what you want is the first step to get it. I love this quote. It’s actually changed my life. Before cancer, I was more like ‘whatever life will through at me’ kind of person. Now, I know I can do better... ... A big part of getting what we want, (from material products to losing weight or learn a new skill) is to put it out there, to write it down, to see it every day in front of our eyes so we can get use to it and act on it on a daily basis. Consciously or subconsciously. Quarterly goals work well for me, it’s easy with the school holidays as a reminder that another quarter has just ended and a new one is about to start. I’m not talking here about life time goals like building your dream house or starting a million dollars business (that’s another story for another time ). I’m talking small reasonable goals, the little things in life that you know you can reach and just don’t have the time, or you are just waiting to act on it one day... Things on your ‘to do before you’re 50’ kind of things Updating your house, learning something new etc. For example, last quarter, I set myself a goal, to be able to walk on the slack line. (yep, I know... ) I was jealous of my kids and niece, It looks so easy for them, but I couldn’t even stay on it for a second... So I set a time limit, 1 quarter (school term) and every day (well, most of the days..) I took 10 minutes and practiced. Firsts few times it was just standing on it for a sec or 2, trying to balance... and slowly I started to be brave enough for a step, then 2 and by the end of the term I did 5 steps!!! Very proud moment . It’s the little things that make you happy, isn’t it? It’s a new quarter this week, I challenge you to set yourself a goal and act on it! I would love to hear your goals ideas. Next week I’ll share my new goal for this quarter. X Shira #studio_ishi
19.01.2022 Reunited with my lost purse! Yay! . Lost it on Monday and had a crazy week without it. I’ll spare the details and give you the short version: NEVER give up! (Even if you have to call the restaurant again and again AND AGAIN... until they found it! ). So that’s my lessons for this week - 1 Trust your instincts 2 Believe in yourself 3 Sometimes weird stuff happens for a reason. Enjoy your weekend people! Shira... #studio_ishi See more
14.01.2022 Magical bush walk There is nothing like a good morning bush walk. (Well, walk on the beach would work for me too, but what can I say, I live closer to the bush... ) There is something so special in walking in nature. At least once a week, (twice is a charm) an hour walk in nature with a good friend, hour of brainstorming our lives, knowing we are so lucky to live where we live, and still, discussing the options of how to make it even better So happy I chose to wa...lk this morning. 12.01.2022 Time flies when you are having fun!!! Today, 13 year ago, we started our big adventure. With 5 suitcases, few hand bags and 2 young energetic kids we landed in Sydney, excited and exhausted from the long way. (Loooong way). So many things happened since, I won’t even start counting. Good stuff, amazing stuff and some challenges on the way in between. It was worth it. For sure. For all the family and friends overseas that are reading this, Yes, we still love and miss yo...u VERY much! Really! We just followed our dream, we had to. I know you understand. shira #studio_ishi
11.01.2022 I used to see my girl’s hair clips all over the house but when I actually needed them - they were never around... That’s how I came up with the perfect solution Clip-it. A unique framed illustration that can hold many hair clips and bobbin pins so they are never lost ... Your girl (toddler, tween , or teen) will love to stay organised with Clip-it! If you wish, it can also be personalised with a name and a photo to make it a very special Christmas present for a lucky young girl * Link at the comment bellow x Shira #studio_ishi

09.01.2022 Big week with a big lesson learnt: Use the timer Shira!!! Or in other words: Don’t put a banana bread in the oven and go and watch Netflix... I’m sure I’ll do better next time ... Enjoy your weekend people. X Shira #studio_ishi
07.01.2022 Proud mum moment. I have literally nothing to say. Just listen. Shira #studio_ishi
04.01.2022 So, I have a bit less than a year to celebrate 50 years of awesomeness This year I’m on a mission to cross off stuff from my bucket list. I’ll focus on the fun stuff of course. Things I wanted to do for a while now but always left for later... Some of them need practice and goal setting, like my Iast week’s post about walking on the slack line and some are just do it! things. ... For this quarter, I have a new goal, something I wanted to practice for a while but didn’t yet... You see, my family has this weird habit of headstands whenever they can. Now, I can’t join them... but I want to. And I will. My goal for this quarter is to be able to do a headstand. So wish me (and my skeleton) luck. I hope to show you the results by the end of the year. Would love to hear about your bucket list for some new ideas. And please don’t say skydive.. as I already did that on my 30’s X Shira #studio_ishi
03.01.2022 7 years of primary school done and dusted This is one little shelf loaded with lots of beautiful memories and proud moments. I first created this school memories folder for my baby girl when she just started kindy and now, here we are, heading off to high school. ... Now I’ll have to design a new folder for teens... (I guess they keep everything on their mobile phone anyway... ). Here’s to a new exciting (& challenging) chapter. X Shira #studio_ishi PS. if you want a school memories folder for your kids.
