25.01.2022 Sunday saw a shoot at MGM Photography, a big thanks to Mal for the use of his studio. He has a lot more backdrops, lighting and space so it was great to get int...o a decent studio. Our awesome model Tegan Morris was up at 4 to have hair done by Derek and Cerrie from MOON Townsville, makeup by Melissa Prince and the amazing jewellery provided by Kaz Hauser from StudioKaz. Amasing experience to have the hair and makeup at the shoot to deal with wardrobe issues that come up through the shoot. allowed me to concentrate on the lighting and positioning. See more

15.01.2022 Talented carpenter Isaac Wood (yes, that’s his name!) of Wood Creative Constructions has just crafted this SUPERB workbench + standing sink work area for my new indoor studio room (formerly Dan’s bedroom). He has done a gorgeous job, very thoughtfully translating my ideas and needs into three sturdy dimensions. I can’t wait to get it painted, and the plumber in to install the sink.

11.01.2022 An oldie but still a goodie, in my personal collection, being useful this weekend.

10.01.2022 Now at The Drill Hall Studio. Made a wee bit of jewellery with the pianola-paper disc beads that I had left over.

09.01.2022 ‘Reef’ sushi plate, approx 21 x 14 cm, kilnformed glass. I’ve made this as the door prize for the next PechaKucha Townsville night on 20 September, the theme of which is the Great Barrier Reef. InsideOut Architects

08.01.2022 I’ve been shy about sharing this because of the illustrious company! But this online catalog includes the piece that I have in a current exhibition in Whanganui, NZ.

08.01.2022 Wow! Moon Townsville marketing banner with a StudioKaz exaggerated necklace. Thank you!

07.01.2022 I am so very excited and honoured that my friend Judith Russell has invited me to share this exhibition with her! Know anyone who might be visiting the Blue Mountains in December?

05.01.2022 This is the wall sculpture that I have entered into the members’ exhibition at the Sargent Gallery in Whanganui, NZ, connected with the Ausglass/NZ Glass Colab conference. It is a wall sculpture approximately the size of a sheet of A4 paper, made of fused and slumped glass, priced at NZD 220. PS: Forgot to thank Rosana Kersh Photography for the images!!!

05.01.2022 Making this necklace was so much fun! Topped only by seeing Tegan model it so beautifully. Yet, while exaggerated, I think it’s also a necklace that could be worn in real life ... a statement piece to set off that black dress with the deep neckline, or over a black turtleneck ...

03.01.2022 I had such fun creating B-I-G necklaces for yesterday's MOON Townsville photo shoot! With model Tegan Morris, makeup by Melissa Prince, hair of course by Moon's Derek Chapman and Cerrie Chapman, using the MGM Photography studio, and photography by Malcolm Gillham of Leiden Studios. What a great team Derek created. I can't wait to see Mal's images!

02.01.2022 StudioKaz has some pieces in the holiday pop-up shop at Umbrella Studio .... one of Townsville's great places to shop for handmade gifts!

02.01.2022 First-ever mirror, finally installed after an eventful learning curve .... which is exactly the idea behind prototypes! 28 x 19.5 cm.
