19.01.2022 In the midst of COVID-19, we finally introduce Black Star Pastry at The Galeries Sydney. Created and built in February 2020, Black Star Pastry stood patient in the midst of the pandemic and finally opened their doors in August 2020. A new era of Black Star Pastry’s opens with a whole new look and vibe.... Our client’s brief was simple- A Hole in a Wall A visual minimalistic approach was taken by first placing a stark white base palette and allowing the architectural shape & form to play a major role. The white canvas folds opens and creates A Hole in a Wall which continues through to its sister kiosks both adjacent and above the space. A visual connection of the three spaces was created through the eyes of its patrons. Undeniably, the awe and dynamics of the architectural form draws its patrons closer and invites an unconscious interaction with the team at Black Star Pastry.
