22.01.2022 Presenting our initial concept for the Victor Harbor R-7 School Redevelopment, as part of the State Governments Major School Upgrades. Upgrades being considered include construction of a new flexible learning STEAM building with indoor / outdoor connectivity (pictured), replacement and remediation of external structures, demolition of ageing infrastructure and landscaping to connect the new with the existing surrounds. Amazing work by the team, Justin Cucchiarelli, Rimas Kaminskas, Andrew Steele and Claudia Marro!

20.01.2022 Yesterday the Minister for Education announced the next round of capital works projects in a number of western Adelaide schools, including two of our own the $12M redevelopment of Henley High School and the $5M redevelopment of Ocean View P-12 College. The press conference took place at Henley High, where works will include the addition of seven new classroom facilities and a new screening element that acts as an architectural gateway to the school. Upgrades at Ocean View i...nclude demolition works, refurbishments to two buildings and the design and delivery of a new drama and performance facility. Imagery shows the current concepts for both projects, by the S9 Henley High project team John Galluccio, Kirstie Coultas, Jason Semanic, Pat Macri, Tenielle Wildman and Claudia Marro; and Ocean View team John Galluccio, Justin Cucchiarelli, Jason Semanic and new staff member Daniel Schumann.

13.01.2022 The transformation of the Checkside Tavern at Football Park is now underway! Pascale Construction have begun on site, with works due to be completed in August. The $4M overhaul will see a refurbishment of the tired interior, but more importantly will introduce an alfresco area allowing light, ventilation and connection through the building. With opportunity to reinvigorate the external facade, the entrance has become a focal point, inviting the community in. Well done to the S9 project team Tony, Kirstie, Tenielle, Sophie & George, we are looking forward to seeing this come to life.

The major hotel redevelopment was completed late last year, with architecture by S9 and interiors designed in collaboration with Surround Interiors. Amazing effort on this important project by our team Andrew, Aaron, Mandy, Tony, Nick and Emmeline, builders Sarah Constructions Pty Ltd and all consultants Like many hospitality venues at the moment, the Marion Hotel have pivoted their offering and are serving up takeaway meals and beverages, while their accommodation and bottleshop remain open for business. Our team has continued to grow welcoming a number of new staff members into the fold and weve further refined and evolved our processes. Weve both started and completed some big projects, including the design of George & Queen Residences and a number of education projects for the State Governments Major School Upgrades. We handed over the $22M Lights Co...mmunity and Sports Centre and the $15M redevelopment of The Marion Hotel. And we submitted The Norwood Mixed-Use Development for Planning Consent and have begun construction on site for Third Avenue, The Strathmore Hotel, Loxton Hotel and many many more! Its been a big year on the awards front, taking home the Outstanding Award from Major Sponsor & Gold in the Built Environment (Commercial) Category at the DIA SA/NT Awards for Mill Film. The Fitzroy Residence was Shortlisted in the SBID International Design Awards for Best Residential Design Over 1M Category AND our newest Associate Jaana Bithell received the Contribution to Design Award at the NAWIC Awards!
