23.01.2022 As part of a $31M redevelopment of the Higher Courts, our comprehensive wayfinding signage system enables public, judges, juries, lawyers and staff to understand and navigate a sometimes high stress courts environment. Clean, crisp lines and solid colour creates contrast against heritage walls and soft timber to create beauty and gravitas. Designed to be seen and not seen signs are there when you need them, otherwise falling back to let the architecture and heritage steal... the show. 20.01.2022 Throwback Thursday // Earlier this year 28 Leigh St underwent a fancy facade upgrade to open it up to one of Adelaide's most vibrant laneways, changing the way users navigated the spaces. Featuring beautiful heritage red brick and black steel, we thought it only fair to design the signage to sit back and let the building do all the talking.
18.01.2022 A process movie of our latest project in WA for the new Perth Stadium. Piñata was engaged to visually interpret Author Kim Scott's poem Kaya into an artwork, etched into the Stadium's precast facade. A few nervey moments watching the precast go in, respect to the crane drivers and their nerves of steel! Architect // HASSELL Subcontractor // Delta Corporation

08.01.2022 This time 5 years ago construction was finishing up on this mammoth hospital wayfinding project in Midlands WA, designed by our Director Susie with HASSELL. With an overall project value of $360M, the signage strategy was full of complexity and design thinking (just the way we like it!). Scope for the SJOG Hospital included internal and external wayfinding, placemaking graphics, vehicle and pedestrian signage. The graphic wraps the stadium, etched into 60 panels of the concrete facade. Opened in 2018, this interpretive artwork is a celebration of sport and the Noongar community.
