21.01.2022 Edelman Australia, a global communications firm, asked us to create a 3D character of the PayPal shopping Bag for 'PayPal- where to Shop'. The creative team at Edelman came up with the base designs and visuals and we worked collaboratively with the team to bring the character to life. We absolutely love making characters in 3D, and this was an opportunity for us to create a fun and engaging character. Upon catching the PayPal button, confetti falls from the top of the screen ...and dissolves as it reaches the bottom of the Shopping Bag, who is so happy with the outcome. The Animation was shared on PayPal's social media for the 'Where to Shop' Campaign. 20.01.2022 Libero contacted our good friends at Pentagram Film to create a case video about their newly designed sophisticated diapers that should adhere to every baby no mater of skin colour or if they have any kind of disability. Pentagram film created the script, filmed the babys and the voiceover and we at Pines and Palms where tasked with creating the storyboard, animatic, 3D packaging along with visual effects, 2D supers and editing.

11.01.2022 XL Event Lab came with a brief on how to promote The Big Bounce’s new event The Parking Lot Social Australia, an event with multiple venues and themes throughout the night for their Australian and UK as well as their American audiences. We had 2 weeks to come up with a little world where a bunch of cars came together to view the new event releases with a 70’s Miami vice styled neon light show. We combined 3D models and animation with 2,5D scenes and pictures to create an imme...rsive journey through the different fast-paced events. Working with Illustrator, Cinema 4D, After effects and Premiere, we made a big parking lot with various cars and the parking lot socials inflatable stages and iconic characters. Working closely with the script and the brand guidelines presented to us, we developed a creative approach that integrates 2D and 3D animation to explain how CASUS is revolutionising the legal market in an engaging and colourful video.
