15.01.2022 I was teaching a lesson today. We learned how to hem jeans and I started to teach my student the next topic but she was just not getting it. She said my brain has had enough. Can we stop here for today? We still had 30 minutes left to the lesson but we stopped. . I was so impressed with her. She listened to herself and knew her limits. .... How many times have I pushed on sewing when I knew I was done for the day? . Too many times Looking back, I can see that it has ended in a mess almost every time. . Here’s to honouring ourselves. . 10.01.2022 After 50 days of lock down it was a joy to resume teaching. Too bad that didn't last long here we go again for six weeks. I miss having students in the studio but I didn't anticipate how much I would enjoy teaching over zoom! The next six weeks don't look so bad anymore
