08.01.2022 WHAT DOES EXERCISE MEAN TO YOU? For a really long time, I used exercise as a way to punish myself for eating too much or eating something unhealthy or I felt like I SHOULD be doing it. I would admire women with bodies that just weren’t realistic for me and put myself down constantly for not looking a certain way. Flash forward to today, exercise to me means FEELING STRONG and celebrating what my body can do. I am able to move my body every single day and I love it! It al...so makes me feel confident, positive and empowered and it has allowed me to connect and create a community built around that. As women, our bodies change everyday and we should never compare what we look like now to what we looked like yesterday, last week or 3 years ago. And we should never compare what we look to to anyone else because no matter what someone looks like you don’t know what they’ve been through/are going through. Exercise comes in all shapes, sizes and forms and there is no right or wrong way to go about it. The fitness industry has embedded into our brains that exercise is solely intended for weight loss or to change the way we look and as a trainer I want to completely change that mindset. My mission has, is and will always be to promote a sustainable lifestyle and help you to form life long habits that are fitted to YOU!
