04.01.2022 BEDROOMS at @stevecordony It was incredibly difficult to pick a favourite out of the 5 bedrooms at Steve’s home, however this first bedroom might have to be the winner for me. Design features: ... - Mixing old and new, or how Steve says ‘Contemporary & Traditional’ (My favourite) - Wallpaper is continued in the entire room, never a feature wall. - Curtains are higher than windows and draped slightly on the floor, to elongate night. - Note one bed head is custom made to be short so the full window is seen. Steve told us the window’s are his art within his bedrooms. With these views, I couldn’t agree more. - Lamps on bedside tables don’t have to be small. - Mixing textures throughout the room & layering rugs over carpet. - Artwork doesn’t always have to be hung on walls, note how Steve leans his on top of furniture. - Pillows laid flat, does this mean I have to get rid of my European Cushions?! ... - Your bedside tables don’t necessarily have to match.
