08.01.2022 This caught my eye because I’m a Sagittarius.... it kept my attention because it felt like me on a page.... it inspired me because it’s described my journey this past 17months I left a very well paid amazingly creative job to try my hand at my own business. I had a calling......I had no idea what I was in for. This is without a doubt the hardest thing I have ever done. So many highs and many more lows. But the lessons I’ve learnt, the personal growth and development is imme...asurable, and the people. Oh the amazing, kind, giving people I have met and worked with along the way.... this is my path and it’s what I meant to be doing. One woman at a time #Repost @samanthawillsfoundation with @get_repost This month 14 years ago I took 42 pairs of handmade earrings pinned to 2 cork boards, and displayed them at the tradeshow section at Australian Fashion Week. I was 22 years old & the space on the showroom wall cost $500. I put a prayer up to the universe that morning hoping to write one or two orders to cover the cost of the space. At the end of the 4 day tradeshow I had written $17,849.00 worth of orders. The tradeshow finished on a Sunday afternoon and I was meant to go back to my real job on Monday, it was a job I did just to get by & was leaning on because I didn’t believe in myself that I had what it took to start a business. On drive home from packing up tradeshow that Sunday, I stopped & picked up the weekend newspaper. This was my horoscope that Sunday. On Monday, I quit my real job, and at 22 years old committed to giving everything I had to build a jewellery business and a brand that I hoped people would want to be a part of. I know many of you have been on this journey with me from the very start, I am grateful to everyone who has been a apart of where the @SamanthaWillsOfficial brand is today, & also grateful for everyone who has also supported me in ventures I have done outside of the brand @SamanthaWillsFoundation Posting this today as a reminder to anyone who feels like what they are wanting to achieve is far out of reach.
