25.01.2022 What a day we had yesterday! We’ve taken up a challenge of trying to take a photo for each fur babies that came in yesterday, and scored 23/30. Apologies for those who missed out, but we will try again next time!!

22.01.2022 Halfway through Stage 4, hope all of our fur-babies are still well-behaving. If you are working from home like our lovely Ziggy the Pom, please make sure you are still looking after your well-being and take plenty of walks/exercises. A gentle reminder that face mask is compulsory if you do leave home. Here is a demonstration of how you should not wear a mask. Don’t do what Mr. Greg Hunt did.... Staying apart keep us together. Together we can fight the virus. Can’t wait to see you guys again very soon (If you have any lockdown photos of yourself and your furbabies, please send to us so we can share and spread the love )

21.01.2022 We might be going into Stage 2 lockdown very shortly. If you still haven’t got an appointment in the next 48hours, please book in as soon as you can as we cannot foresee when we will be back on again. We have extended hours in place with extra staffs so that none of our fur babies will miss out before the final lockdown.

16.01.2022 Wonderful news today as Dan Andrews finally prioritise dog grooming as a welfare issue for our beloved furbabies! Thank you for everybody from the industry that helped to make this happened! We are now taking appointments from 1st of Oct (sorry guys, 28th - 30th are booked out already ). If it’s urgent, we can fit you in prior! Please inbox or call us to discuss.... For our existing regular customers, if you are experiencing financial difficulties and cannot afford it for the time being, please reach out to us and we are happy to work something out for you, in return for your support in the past years. Nobody is doing it easy this year, and last thing we want is your furbabies to suffer. If you can’t get through to us (the phone has gone crazy) please leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can by the end of the day. If you don’t hear back from us by the next day, apologies and please reach out to us again as sometimes we may have missed it by accident.

13.01.2022 A possibility that we might be going lockdown in 48hrs, depending what the government define as non-essential services! In the mean time, we are still opened! Not many spots left for the next two days, but we will be doing extended hours to fit through as many as we can

12.01.2022 A warm welcome to Buster the Schnoodle, second furbaby to Joanne’s family. He was very well behaved (much better than his older sister Darcy ) and that’s why we always recommend start grooming at an earlier age so they will get familiar with it

08.01.2022 This post is dedicated to the loving memory of Jack. We were deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of one of our regulars, the delightful Jack. Jack brought joy to the lives of all who met him. Our thoughts go out to his family during this difficult time. We're thankful to have been able to look after Jack over the years and take solace in the fact that he had the best of lives as a member of the Carolyn’s family.... It was a pleasure, Jack! You will be deeply missed

05.01.2022 Our State just recorded its eighth consecutive day of double digit new cases, wish everyone to stay well and stay safe! A gentle reminder that with our extra measures in place, appointments are limited so please book in advance for your desired spot.

04.01.2022 It’s been so so great to be back open and running again to help your fur babies look and feel better after all this time growing out their coats! The groomers at the Stylish Salon are extremely appreciative of all the thoughtful gifts given to us, it really shows that our hard work is valued and paying off. We love to know that we are recognised and making a positive difference in someone’s life and it especially helps us groomers to keep pushing on through these tough times ...too! During the day, we are unable to pick up any calls at all as we are consistently working on the dogs for that day, but we will return all missed calls as often as we can or as soon as we put our tools down in the afternoon. Please be courteous and patient with our groomers!! we have been working non-stop from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, and most of the time with NO lunch break! We understand that we may not be able to please every customer, especially during post lockdown. Although we try our absolute best to accomodate your wishes with your dogs groom, please keep in mind that matting has most likely formed in their coat (even if it’s not visible or doesn’t feel like it) due to the long time away from the salon. We also understand your frustration and disappointment over a shaved finishing groom, but we have to do what we have to do. Just because we are flat out, does not mean we just shave all dogs as that’s the quickest way. We will only shave a dog if the coat is matted to the skin (or if requested), but it is close to near impossible, and extremely painful for your dog to just brush it out. If we do manage to brush the matting out, the fur will be thin and broken off from where the matting begins. Not only that, but your dog might start to hate coming to the groomers (potentially for the rest of their life) after an hour of consistent tugging and pinching! And let us remind everybody about our policy - whoever came to drop off gets the saying of what needs to be done for the day, unless the dog is coming in with a note! We have had a few family disputes and ended up blasting us for the wrong doing. It is NOT COOL and NOT OKAY to be rude to ANY staff members ANYWHERE. Please please please be nice to your groomers, we are the one’s putting our heart and soul in to making your dogs look and feel fabulous. If we are not the right groomers for you, we understand and we can part our ways. Any genuine feedback in helping us improve our level of services are greatly appreciated. However, any hated speech or personal attacks will NOT be tolerated. Stay safe!!

01.01.2022 We don’t know when we will be going lockdown, but we are certainly trying our best to fit everybody in before then! Extended hours are in place, it’s like Christmas again! If we didn’t pick up the phone straight away, please don’t be mad. Leave a message, txt us or even msg us on FB, we will get back to you ASAP, promised! On a side note, please help us to slow down the usage of toilet paper, tissue and paper towels by giving your pets a toilet break before coming in. We have no luck of buying any in the past weeks and we are running very low!!!

01.01.2022 This year has been such a tiring year for everyone, and especially harder for some pet owners. After many years of memories made at the salon with the Lee family, we sadly had to say a virtual goodbye to one of our gorgeous salon dogs, Gucci, last friday. He left his family with a big smile and we will always remember our time spent making him look and feel fabulous. Now we will cherish our time with the rest of his fur-siblings, Jude and Ruru, knowing he will be watching h...is family from above and playing in the clouds.
