23.01.2022 And more good news

22.01.2022 The only way to keep our beaches open is to use them safely. Please limit your time at the beach, take just one friend with you and keep your distance. Our beaches are so important for our mental health at this time, please play your part in keeping them open to all.

22.01.2022 Beautiful place for a winter lunch

22.01.2022 A great resource for coping with this COVID life

22.01.2022 Do you have a spare room or a parking spot that you could offer to a stranded traveller? Needs some jobs done? This great FB page is linking travellers with Aussie families to ride out the covid storm.

21.01.2022 Ready for holiday fun in freo

21.01.2022 Freo through a lock down lens

15.01.2022 In the midst of fear and fuss about COVID-19, we can all do something simple. Reach out to all your neighbours, including those you don't know yet. Give them your number and ask for theirs. Offer to try to help when needed, like shopping or chemist scripts. Keep in touch. We are not alone in any of this, if we reach out.

15.01.2022 Tough and disappointing decisions had to be made but I'm proud we could keep the total rates revenue to the same as last year and ensure essential services, recovery and key projects keep happening.

14.01.2022 A great investment, we need one in Freo too.

12.01.2022 https://www.mysaytransport.wa.gov.au/swan-river-crossings Tell Main Roads and the State Government they need to try harder with planning our new bridge. This is a 100 year investment. The bridge location will determine how our road network develops, where houses are built, where we shop and eat, how North Fremantle connects and how we use the river foreshores. Bridges don't just cross rivers, they connect and shape communities. Its not good enough to plan this investment on the path of least resistance, on what's easy for a quick COVID spend. Take the time to plan it as the city shaping infrastructure it is.

12.01.2022 The scams are endless, I got this one by SMS, please be cautious.

11.01.2022 Well done valley vergers on this great sharing event

10.01.2022 Our amazing locals

10.01.2022 The roads are filling up again, let's get on with this.

08.01.2022 We are getting a new bridge in freo, a one in a hundred year project. Let's hope it's this beautiful - after all bridges connect communities and shape cities.

08.01.2022 This is such an amazing opportunity for WA

07.01.2022 The City's position is that we want to retain working Port activities in Freo. We also recognise that any change to Port activity will impact our economy and employment. We, and the State Government, need to get busy, and creative, to attract new industries and employers and plan for new land uses. One such opportunity is attracting a film hub to Fremantle.

05.01.2022 Freo is waiting...

03.01.2022 Get pruning....

02.01.2022 Important and simple ideas for change

01.01.2022 It was a real pleasure to have a wide-ranging conversation with Michael Barker of the Shipping News about Freo, leadership, life and resilience. Shame about the ancient photo - clearly I need to update what is available online!
