This two hour masterclass will take participants on a journey to the islands of Java and Sumatra. Starting with a warm up and intricate hand gestures from Central Java to the rhythms and body percussion of Sumatra and Aceh. This is a movement and music workshop, practicing... motoric and ensemble skills through group participation. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a yoga mat and water bottle.
