03.01.2022 Just finished 3D printing the final prototype for the reversed Subaru 4EAT automatic transmisson cover plate with integrated Vanagon mount. A little more clearance to sink the bolt heads and we're ready to make a billet one to update our test bus. Total length of reversed Subarugears auto is 655mm plus 25mm in mount depth. Compared to the reversed 5 speed manual at 565mm so the auto is 90mm (3 1/2 inches) longer.

03.01.2022 The Subarugears test Vanagon gets it's lowered gowesty springs all around. Visually it looks a bit more squat. To drive, it's fantastic. Not as high as a truck anymore, far better roadholding and a comfortable, progressive spring.
