25.01.2022 A tough 3-1 loss for our WNPL ladies on the weekend. Onto the next round where we’ll face up against the 2019 premier league winner, Northern Redbacks. We’ll be fighting for a win that will seal us a spot in the Night Series semi finals!

24.01.2022 While researching the long history of our Club, Brett Klucznik has done a stellar job of piecing together the highs and lows in competition of our top men’s senior teams. He’s also uncovered some interesting changes to the name of the club. #mysubi

24.01.2022 Last week, Abid Imam, Football West Club Engagement Lead, presented the club with a Building Stronger Clubs certificate. We secured this grant to fund the research, design, and manufacture of a club history timeline to display in our club rooms and on our website. Current and former committee members have been working on the project with soccer historian Brett Klucznik of http://www.footballhalloffamewa.com.au/ and they’ve unearthed some gems: photos, merchandise, pennants, trophies, and lots of stories from our 110-year history. Thanks to Football West for helping us initiate the process of recording our club, and wider community’s, history for future generations. If you have old club photos you’d be happy for us to digitise and add to our collection, please email the Club Secretary at [email protected].

06.01.2022 While the committee is busy planning for the the future, a few keen Subi volunteers are turning their attention to the Club's past. A small grant from Football West, to create a club history board for display at Rosalie Park, has kicked off a search for stories and photos through the years. We're delighted to have respected football historian and Football Hall of Fame WA committee member, Brett Klucznik, and Subiaco AFC Life Member, Neil Henshaw, on board to piece the Subi ...story together. We'd love to hear from anyone who might have: old photos of the club house, the grounds, matches or members; newsletters; team kits; medals; any memorabilia that might help us create a comprehensive archive of Subiaco AFC's story so far. Below is a 1910 newspaper article from the archives of the National Library of Australia about the establishment of the club. It mentions a black and white striped kit. Does anyone know when the Club started using the maroon and gold colours? It's one of many questions we'd love to answer. Please email Club Secretary, Johanna, at [email protected] if you think you can help.
