20.01.2022 ANZAC Day is rapidly approaching. Every year as Scouts we have been involved with the ANZAC services but sadly due to COVID-19 we are not able to pay our respects in the usual way. But we as Scouts we improvise and overcome, so we will be paying our respects in a different way. At 5.55am on the 25th of April we will join the driveway dawn service. Put on your uniform just as you normally would and light a candle. Standing silently at the end of your driveway or balcony and t...une into the radio and listen to the service. 10.01.2022 At a hall camp over the weekend 11 of our scouts, explored kings park and the city, practiced some first aid, preformed some skits, went spotlighting at Rebolt hill and tested their pioneering skills. All in all it was a fantastic time with scouting friends.

10.01.2022 A great weekend away with the scouts, venturers and parents. The group built a monkey suspension bridge, walked through the some of WA's amazing bush and had fun with camp cooking. Thanks to everyone that attended. Looking forward our next adventure

07.01.2022 We have all used a comercial compass before but have you ever made your own compass? Bellow are some instructions on how to do just that. Have a go, and get creative. Can you create a navigational course in the house with your compass? How does one navigate from room to room in your house? Let us know how you go.... ET

03.01.2022 As tomorrow is ANZAC day we are highly recommending that you participate in the driveway dawn service. This is where you stand at the edge of your driveway with a candle, in your full scout uniform at 6am and tune into a radio station for the dawn service. Et and I will be doing this, we are hoping to see photos sent in via your parents to post on ou Facebook and instagram to show that even though we arnt together we are still celebrating and remembering the lives that were taken for us to live in this place we call home

02.01.2022 Leaders, Parents and Youth Members, During this difficult time as the world consolidates together to respond to the coronavirus (COVID-19) change is inevitable, each day presents itself with new developments and the Scout Group understands that parents and leaders have concerns. On the advice of Scouts WA, State and Federal Health Authorities, the Subiaco Scout Group will be temporally suspending Youth Meetings (Cubs, Scouts, Venturers and Rovers) effective Monday 23rd March ...2020 in compliance with Health Authorities social distancing practices. This drastic action has been taken to protect and ensure everyone’s health and wellbeing. At the end of the day, every members safety and health are our utmost priority. All Leaders, Youth members and Parents will be informed in due course when the Group will recommence Youth meetings and continue with business as usual.
