24.01.2022 United for Wrestling tournament - congrats to Killian on winning gold and to Oli for winning bronze in the most competitive weight category, and this is the first time he has competed in 8 years !

24.01.2022 Due to growing concerns about the corona virus, the coaches have decided to suspend wrestling training at the club until further notice. Until training recommences, we suggest wrestlers do the following at least weekly: 1. Practice wrestling moves at home, on your own or with a friend. ... 2. Watch the best wrestlers in action on the internet eg United World Wrestling. Carefully notice how they move, react and attack. 3. Keep fit. This is about maintaining cardio fitness (eg running) , flexibility (eg stretching) and strength (eg push-ups, squats, crunches). Take care and stay strong.

24.01.2022 Covid Phase 2 restrictions take effect tomorrow in WA but whilst they allow some sporting activities, wrestling is excluded. Please keep fit and practice your wrestling moves safely at home until restrictions are further relaxed when we can train at again at Subiaco PCYC. Stay safe and strong.

23.01.2022 Wrestling training continues as normal. However if you have sore throat or flu or cold like symptoms, please refrain from coming to the club and let the coaches know.For those coming to training , please wash your hands well with soap and water immediately before and after training. Thank you.

20.01.2022 Hi wrestlers, please note that there will not be training at Subiaco next week (28-Sep to 2-Oct), which is the first week of school holidays. There will be holiday training during the second week (5-Oct onwards). We appreciate if you could confirm with your coaches whether you are coming during the school holidays. Thank you!

19.01.2022 Term 1 for 2020 starts on 3rd February. There will also be a final pre-season training session this Friday 31-Jan for those hardcore enough to train! Welcome back for the new season. All the best!

15.01.2022 Good news guys...phase three restrictions will be effective 6th June allowing contact sports. Please stand by for notification on when our wrestling club can officially restart training at Subiaco PCYC.

08.01.2022 So good to see people back at training last night. Thanks to Jon and JG for providing excellent coaching. For those that didn't attend please note that we now need to bring our own water bottles, towel and hand sanitizer. Also, term fees payable before you get onto the mat. A reminder that there is a WWA tournament on 23/8/2020. It would be great if a big team of Subi Tigers could attend and "show its claws".
