25.01.2022 Today is the 20th anniversary of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. This is significant to us as a business as Subi Sports had two staff heavily involved with providing remedial massage support to the Australian Olympic team. Our own manager Bernd participated not just by providing support to the athletes but by participating in the torch run! It was a turning point for the clinic, and since then we have been so grateful to be involved in 4 of the Olympic games since. We are so proud to have been involved and feel privileged to that we were, and still are chosen by so many athletes to provide treatment and support.

Bernd and Gretta followed the cyclists through extreme conditions on their 6 day road cycle around Toowoomba, Queensland. The Steve Waugh Foundation is aimed at providing support to children and young adults with the rarest diseases. 17.01.2022 This week our Remedial Massage Therapist Tanja completed her dry needling course! Dry needling can provide relief for muscular pain and stiffness. It can also improve flexibility and cause an increase in the range of motion by releasing trigger points. By completing this course Tanja has another great tool to use when treating clients.

14.01.2022 Amid such uncertain times we have an amazing story that reaffirms the goodness in the world. In March, our business was in danger of closing due to the first lockdown. Remedial massage was classified as an essential service; however, many customers were fearful of returning. We stayed open, and fought through, and many of our customers continued to place their trust in us and continued to use our services and support us. While restrictions were in place, we offered an online ...Pilates service. This week one of the clients did something unprecedented. Their usual fee for the online videos that they had used over the last few months was $30, however they sent us an additional payment of $600 as a donation to go towards the centre and to the Pilates instructors in gratitude for the Pilates instructors. They said they felt that $600 would be a more appropriate payment for our help. We have distributed the money between the three instructors, Tanja, Gretta and Tracey. We felt this was such a wonderful and kind thing for the client to do, and we are incredibly grateful. We wanted to give a heartfelt thank you and share your kind deed. How amazing and kind. We also want to extend our thank you to ALL our wonderful patients who have stayed with us throughout this crisis we send a massive and heartfelt thank you. 05.01.2022 We are still open! The WA Govt and Federal health bodies have encouraged allied health professionals such as Subi Sports to continue to provide professional services. Our rigorous clinical hygiene regime is now as follows: ... thorough disinfection of treatment rooms and replacement of ALL linen and towels between each patient antibacterial washing of all linen and towels thorough sanitising of all hard surfaces contact-less payments thorough client screening questionnaires to exclude ANYONE who does not meet govt isolation requirements (and those who may have come in contact with them) easily accessible hand sanitiser throughout our clinics reconfigured waiting rooms and bookings to provide adequate social distancing. NOTE: physical distancing rules do not apply to one-on-one health services such as ours. As such, we will continue to operate with best-practice care and diligence. With so much uncertainty in the community, we understand that our services will continue to be important to your muscular skeletal health and well-being. Our clinics will remain open seven days a week however operating hours will be slightly reduced on some days. Keep in mind that another option you might consider is a home visit, where we can ensure the same safeguards.
