20.01.2022 Thanks so much for the 5 star review Chantel! Breakfast can be especially tricky with a toddler at 6 in the morning! But our food bottle makes it much easier. Simply fill it with yoghurt, porridge, weetbix or a smoothie and relax while you watch your child eat it all up independently.

19.01.2022 Ok so I've banged on about @suboproducts all weekend in my stories and I'm gonna do one more shout out in my feed for those who haven't seen. You can put purees, yoghurts, smoothies and even tinned spaghetti in these food bottles with zero mess. They have an internal platform which moves up as the child sucks, and it cleans the inside of the bottle at the same time Mind blown, right. They make life so easy for on the go! But for us, that's not even the best part. We know J...ack can't take fluids orally unless they're extremely thick (his poor swallow means anything else goes into his lungs). Thickened fluids are like paste - they don't pour freely from a cup and he can't physically suck strong enough from a generic bottle (or they collapse) - all of his fluids therefore go down his tube. I ordered a @suboproducts bottle for Jack thinking it would give him some independence to 'drink' his yoghurts and purees while at the same time encouraging a suck reflex which he has never really developed due to #tubielife. And then Subo explained that @babeehivegoods in the US have imported 2500 of these bad boys for kids with dysphagia, and my mind instantly started ticking. It quickly occured to me that he might be able to take extremely thick fluids orally with this bottle. And today, he did just that! Jack took 150mls of thickened water orally with his Subo bottle. Something he has never done before. This will mean I no longer have to give him 2 x 'top up' water flushes via his tube throughout the day, and may mean we can slowly wean his night time tube feed too. This is life changing for not only Jack, but for us! And dare I say it, may eventually progress to a full tube wean I am so happy I could cry. - @raising.james.and.jack See more

She’s incredibly stubborn and just won’t eat much each day. Worried about her development I make smoothies every morning and hide all the goodness in there.
